Green Bay loses to Detroit? What's with that? And now Dallas is behind the damn Dolphins.
Although, I have to say that the end zone catch in the final seconds of the second quarter was just breathtaking!
But still, can Jay Fiedler's ears get any bigger and would Ricky Williams finally realize that his dred's are WAAAAAAY out of date... He needs the fab five...

My Dolphins decided to give me a very wonderful birthday present by kicking the stuffing out of those Cowboys!
Go Ricky Go!

I went 0-for-2 in the Outsports Pick'em today. Considering the teams that lost are in the NFC playoff chase against the Eagles, I couldn't be happier!

Thanks Detroit! For helping The Vikings out!! Now if the Vikings can upset ST LOUIS! That would be some sweet icing on the cake of the Vikings Play-off return! Oh and by the way: HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!! To all of you!

Yeah, I'm 0-2 in the pick'em game now. I hate Thanksgiving, and I'm still waiting for the stuffing to heat up before we eat! Everything else is ready, but no, we have to have the stuffing with everything else!!!
Happy Turkey day everyone!

0-2 to start the weekend here to.
Re: Ricky William's dreads, I was watching a Fins game a few weeks back and saw Ricky get tackled for a loss when an opponent grabbed his locks from behind and dragged him down. The commentator mentioned that there was another RB in the league (Holmes?) who also had long hair coming out of the back of his helmet and, once he realized that his opponents were using it to their advantage by yanking on his hair, had it cut off to "helmet length." Do you suppose Ricky will eventually wise-up and "give it up for the team" by cutting off those dangling dreads? If I were his coach, I'd MAKE him do it. Eventually, a fourth-and-inches may depend on it.

For all their success, Favre and the Packers are a dismal 4-8 in trips to Detroit. The Pack have also struggled in other domes over the years.
Obviously I am happy with the results of yesterday's games because the Vikes' schedule the rest of the way is tougher than the Pack's.

The Cowboys looked dreadful yesterday. It doesn't surprise me because I think a great deal of their success has to do with preparation and the short week hurt.
Even good teams have bad games and I think the Cowboys are a good, young team that had a bad game. Hopefully, they will have 2 in a row

The Packers looked like deer in headlights yesterday. Favre's hurt thumb doesn't help them. That was Detroit's Super Bowl right there. The Vikings got a break, but they sure need to play better to take advantage of it.
Glad the Cowboys got whipped.
Yeah, Fiedler's ears could double as sateliite dishes, but being the Matzo Queen that I am, I still think he's kinda cute. And Brian Griese....mmmmmm.....Brian Griese.

The Packers' play-calling was hiedous. The best rushing team in the league and they abandoned it in favor of play-action passes that resulted in sacks, picks and incompletions. Even the Pack offensive coordinator admitted afterwards he blew it.

I thought their new stadium, Ford Field, was an outdoor facility?

I've had the opportunity to see Fiedler in person and he's so cute that the ears don't even come into play.

The major difference is that it doesn't have that horrible Astroturf.
