Not really a political thread, but I wasn't sure where to put this.....

There'd been speculation that John Edwards seemed angry and/or upset the last couple of days of the campaign. Apparently the diagnosis was confirmed immediately after the formal concession yesterday. Best of luck to the Edwards family

Elizabeth Edwards has breast cancer

Oh my God, my heart really goes out to her, John Edwards, and their entire family. They have two young children, too...I pray she pulls through completely. God bless the Edwards family.

Wow. Their family has been thru a lot in the last few years. I feel badly for her. I wish her the best and a quick, complete recovery.

Saw her on a CNN interview. Very composed, focused and intelligent. As much an asset to John Edwards as Laura is to George W. Bush. Refreshing to listen to. Hope it is not too serious and wish her a full recovery.

Heard on World News Now this morning where they got the cancer early, and it will be treated with radiation and chemo. Still my heart goes out to her and their family.
