On a related note, the city council today approved the new budget, which includes, among other tax and fee increases, a rise in the city's sales tax. Chicago now has the highest city sales tax in the nation.
BTW, fantomas, I thought of you when I read this article on our Governor Blago. If what is written in that article is true, Blago's presidential ambitions might go up in smoke.
