So I wonder where they are getting the money to pay the families...could it be from oil sales? I guess that's something to think about the next time one fills up the SUV. How far removed are we if we are supplying the means to meet an end.

They allegedly get the money from Saudi Arabia and wealthy Saudis, from wealthy Palestinians living in other countries (including the US), from Muslims all over the world who support them,etc. The Palestinians also used to get support from Saddam Hussein. Some of the terror groups have gotten money from Iran, and Iran's new president Ahmadinejad has called for Israel to be wiped off the map, so don't be surprised if that country bankrolls some of these folks too.
