I received the following information and link in the email newsletter that John Aravois sends out. Falwell and other religious right leaders are fueling the flame of Muslim hatred of America:

1. FALWELL PREACHES HATE, 5 DIE IN INDIA
Well, the conservative Christians are off spreading more hate in the
name of God - and this time, people are dying as a result. Last week,
religious right leader Jerry Falwell went on "60 Minutes" and declared
"I think Mohammad was a terrorist," and that "Jesus set the example for
love, as did Moses. I think Muhammad set an opposite example." Well,
protests ensued across the Muslim world, and in India, they became
violent, leading to 5 deaths and 47 injuries. In Lebanon, a leading
Muslim cleric condemned Falwell's remarks, and linked them to the Bush
Administration, which isn't exactly unfriendly to Falwell (and hasn't
rebuked him). In Iran, a leading cleric reportedly called for Falwell
to be killed. And in Pakistan, a country crucial to the US war on
terror (and a country that has nuclear weapons), Falwell's comments were
credited with helping radical Islamic fundamentalists surge to victory
in recent parliamentary elections. (As he always does after making an
ass of himself, Falwell finally apologized.)

Of course, Falwell's cohorts in the religious right all think he's right
on the mark. The Washington Post reports that Billy Graham's son has
repeatedly called Islam an "evil" religion that preaches violence, Pat
Robertson described Mohammad as an "absolute wild-eyed fanatic... a
robber and brigand... a killer," and the Rev. Jerry Vines, former
president of the Southern Baptist Convention, called Muhammad a "demon-
possessed pedophile."

And they say their hate speech doesn't kill.

I think the point is the majority of those you have mentioned would welcome a wider scale clash.
To many of them this is all part of Gods plan for the second coming. Something they would like to hasten.
What concerns me is the question, Based on his beliefs is this a view shared by Mr. Bush?

I'm not one to Hop on the band wagon about these "second coming of Christ" thingys, but if it does happen, or war does break out, I am a little more comfortable knowing that I have a 3 minute drive to someplace where no one can find me if I don't want them to. (mountains that is)

Head for the hills! Jerry Falwell is starting WWIII!

What a tragically delusional world we live in...i hope one day the religious fanatics both here and abroad come to understand how much unnecessary death and destruction their psychotic views have caused...
hockeyTom
will it be Jerry or Shrub that starts WWIII. That is the question..

I agree with you. More war crimes have been waged on mankind in the name of God, than any other "reason".
CPT_Doom
Hey now, Jerry apologized for starting that riot.

And every murder says they are sorry for killing the person........ After they have been caught.
