Anyone up for year 2 of Survival Football on Yahoo?

The rules are each week you must select one team that you suspect will be a winner in their game that weekend. If that team wins, you remain active and are allowed to pick again the following week. If the football team you selected loses (or the game ends in a tie), you are eliminated from the competition and may no longer make future picks.

To make this game more of a challenge, you can only select each professional football team once during the season.

To sign up, log into Yahoo/Sports/Fantasy/Survival Football and join a private group. The group id# is 22104 and the password is 'outsports'.

Another bump for this game. C'mon you guys who profess to know your football. Jump in and have some fun with us. If you don't know football, just pick the team with the cutest QB, but remember, you can't pick them again the rest of the season. This will require scouting of the remaining 31 hunky QB's in the league.

Bump....We got 12 players....let's get a few more. It's easy. Pick whatever team you feel confident will win it's game. If you're right, you get to play the next week. The only catch is, if you're wrong, you're eliminated. If you're right, you can't pick that team to win the rest of the season.

I was just about to make my pick only to see that it is locked up already. :mad: Last year, I thought we had one hour before the game. I also didn't get a reminder email from Yahoo. Too bad I guess. My pick would have been St. Louis Rams this week.

well I'm dissapointed too like Pat. I mean I've never heard of being locked out at 2 or 3pm on game day. Especially since I was a co-champ last year.

For all Public and Private Groups, the deadline to submit your final pick for the week is 11:59 p.m. PT on the day before the first game of that week.
For almost all weeks, this deadline will be 11:59 p.m. PT on Saturday, but it will change when there are Thursday or Saturday games

Don't forget to submit your picks!!!!

I run a Loser's Pool, 100 people, $25 each. I took Carolina to lose this week, so am done. In Week 2. A bunch of people went out with Chicago winning.

Looks like we've lost Cha Cha Heels, Pewter Pirate, Stinger, and Meric.

This week sucked. I was more pissed about being eliminated from the Survival Pool than I was about losing the bundle of $$ that I put on Green Bay.
