Cyd at Outsports
Jim and I have posted our predictions - both of us picking high-octane offenses from the AFC to win it all:

Outsports NFL picks

I need a lawyer -- mdphl, scottie? Want some work? I want to file a suit to take control of Outsports. It's obvious from their previews that Jim and especially Cyd are legally insane.

WOW Peter King just gained credibility!

The long standing tradition of Offense winning in the playoffs!

YEAH MAN!

Yeah, wow. I'm originally from Buffalo, and will always hold the Bills dear in my heart, but first place? Over New England?

Even I wouldn't take that bet.

If Cyd and Jim are insane, we'll have to commit them to some facility for evaluation. Maybe something like the Four Seasons Hotel.

Meanwhile, I would never represent anyone trying to engage in a hostile takeover of Outsports.com. I hope the other lawyers on the board will not betray Jim and Cyd by representing anyone in such an action.

LOL. I didn't take offense to win; I took offense with MUCH IMPROVED defense to win. Notice, I left Indy (and the addition of Corey Simon doesn't change anything) out of the playoffs.

WOW! I thought I was the only OutSports BuffaloFan on the board!!

How shocking, another Buffalonian who left for greener economic pastures rolleyes.gif .

I think the Bills can win the division, they only lost two starters (Pat Williams and Jonas Jennings) and if Losman can be even as close to as good as Bledsoe was then they may be able to start the season right where they left off last season....red hot!

JIP - how much you willing to pay? tongue.gif

On second thought - Jim and Cyd are too nice and cute to sue. Not that someone hasn't already tried... rolleyes.gif

Well, I just got $185 in a card from my co-workers today. biggrin.gif Thank goodness you're interested -- somehow I just knew scottie wouldn't come through. wink However, I'm willing to forego a takeover attempt if Jim and Cyd admit that they've badly screwed up with their predictions.

I admit an error in picking the Eagles to win their division. biggrin.gif

I think Jim and Cyd made another error. They gave their predictions for the Super Bowl winners 20 years from now. LX=60, XL=40. tongue.gif

So that explains it! Talk about going way out on a limb. wink

I had a good laugh over Jim's comment about the Detroit Lions' QB who has his own fan club on Outsports:

QUOTE
Detroit Lions: Joey Harrington is trying to butch himself up with facial hair, but it's a look that just doesn't work. What's wrong with being a sensitive, thoughtful person?
The Colts and Chiefs happen to be my two favourite AFC teams, and I see that Jim and Cyd (respectively) have picked them to win the Super Bowl. Both teams already had potent offenses and appear to have made some badly-needed improvements in their defenses. But neither team had a single win in the pre-season! sad.gif I hope this isn't a sign of things to come.

It looks like the Packers haven't been picked to make the playoffs this year...I think they've missed the post-season only once or twice during Brett Favre's long career.
