Perhaps it could have improved the economy, created jobs....MAYBE even got W. re-elected. Maybe the decision to right his "daddy's" error will cost him this election, just as his daddy's handling of the economy cost him his chance at another 4 years.

"Spin and hype" = lies and more lies.
I think it's time for W to bite the bullet and sack
-Cheney, who's totally pathological and lies so readily he's even being challenged by his puppet W;
-Rumsfeld, whose Strangelovian behavior, plans and commentary are serious threats to national security, and
-Ashcrap, who really wants to be the next head of the KGB (sorry, Senator, but the Soviet Union is dead).
Not that doing so will help him get reelected, but certainly at this point it'd be the right thing to do.
