A couple of huge games this week. The Rams try to keep their momentum going as they travel to play the Redskins. How much will Martz let Warner mess up before he pulls him? Or will Warner resort to his MVP level? The Bills pay a visit to the suddenly-hot Jets. The Bills offense seems to have cooled a bit, but if the coaches let Bledsoe air it out, it could be a great game. The Chargers come east to take on the AFC East leading Dolphins. Should be quite the defensive battle between division leaders. The two hottest teams, the Falcons and the Titans, both go on the road to take on pretty good defensive teams. Michael Vick leads the Falcons into Carolina, while Tennessee goes to Baltimore. These are the kind of land mine games that a team needs to win and not have a letdown. And the most important game by far is the Battle of the Bays-Green at Tampa. The winner will have an inside track to home field advantage through the playoffs. Home field is muy importante for both squads. The Bucs don't want to have to travel to Wisconsin in January. And the Pack is undefeated at home in the playoffs. The Broncos will try to keep a share of the AFC West lead as they host the Colts and break in a new quarterback. Denver has been dreadful in their national TV appearances so far this year. Will Buerlein help turn that around. And in our Game of the Week, as selected by Week 11 winner Cyd, the McNabb-less Eagles travel west to take on the 49ers. The Niners let one get away last week and the Eagles will try to hold it together sans Donovan.
If you've not played before, you are still invited to join in this week. For those who have played, the rules are the same. And for those who would like to play its really quite easy. Each week, I will post the complete schedule of NFL games for the coming week. You simply predict the winner of each game. We don't need no stinkin' point spreads here! Here's how you do it:
1. Pick the winners in EACH game.
2. Predict how many points the team you pick to win the designated Game of the Week will win by. This week, its the Eagles at 49ers, as selected by last week's co-winner, Cyd. This will be used for tiebreak purposes.
3. All picks are due by kickoff of the opening game of that weekend. Thankfully, there are no games until Sunday. So your picks are due by 1pm Eastern time Sunday.
4. Picks MUST be submitted either via the Private Message function or E-mail. My email address is geolovevikes@yahoo.com. I must ask that you do not post your picks here. That way I can ensure picks are submitted before the deadline. Please include your Outsports nickname with your picks! Any questions, email me.
PLEASE REMEMBER TO INCLUDE ALL 16 GAMES AS WELL AS THE POINT SPREAD FOR THE TIEBREAK GAME!!!
Here are the games:
Sunday 11/24
1. Lions at Bears
2. Rams at Redskins
3. Bills at Jets
4. Chargers at Dolphins
5. Vikings at Patriots
6. Falcons at Panthers
7. Jaguars at Cowboys

I should deliberately try and pick the wrong teams so I can go from first to worst...of course, then I'd probably end up winning the week...

With only the Monday Night Football game to play, we have 2 guys tied for first with 11-4 records so far. And since only 1 player out of the entire group picked the Eagles (his initials are JoeinPhilly), the final winner will come down to the tiebreak.

Heh heh heh...I was wondering about this, since I didn't see the usual breakdown of the selections this week.
