Jim, I'm so sorry to hear of your news. Having lost a father, I know that words sometimes can't really express the sense of loss you're probably feeling. But know that in time, you'll come to a point where there will be acceptance of this change in your life and you'll look back fondly at the times you've had with your father.
Peace to you and your family.

Hi:
I just got back into town last night and saw the wonderful messages, both on this thread and in my e-mail box. I can't thank you enough for all for your wonderful thoughts. They really mean a lot.
My mom and dad raised 7 kids in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., and are awesome parents. My dad, a WWII vet (I saw his Purple Heart for the first time last week), always encouraged us to follow our own paths. He was totally accepting of who I was and always asked me how the Website was going. He was a good man and a great father and I miss him.
He took me to my first NFL game, in 1967, at Philly's Franklin Field as my beloved Baltimore Colts beat the Eagles, 38-6. I was in heaven. Ah, the memories.
Thanks so much again. You're all terrific.
