Hi:
Cyd and I created this forum to keep everyone abreast of any news about Outsports separate from the Discussion Board. New features, Outsports in the news, announcements, etc.
Only Cyd and I will be able to create topics here, but anyone can reply.
Use About the Board to post anything about the Discussion Board.
Thanks for all of your support!

Good idea!
I've been wondering about any "official" Outsports gatherings you might have in the works. Superbowl party (have you done those?), Bowl Game weekends, etc.?
Eager minds want to know (and empty wallets want to start saving!)

Great move, as always guys!
Any word yet on whether and when Neil Giuliano will be hosting a Fiesta Bowl party for all us visitors??? My first real road trip from SD!

We'll have more information coming in the next several weeks. But, we do have some information on our next convention.
It will be in Philadelphia and it will be in May. We already have some fun stuff lined up. So, please keep that in mind when you're considering your travel plans for next spring.
This year: no getting snowed in!

Is this the appropriate place to say "thank you" for the new pictures from last year's Gay Games? Well, thank you!!! There are lots of hot men and great pecs in those pictures, but more than that I noticed the beautiful smiles and happy expressions on everyone's face. They all look so proud to be participating in the games, as they should be.

You're welcome!
It was fun editing them, remembering what the people were like when I took them--hoping to be able to translate a bit of their own personal excitement and joy at being where they were, having a chance to do their best with Their Own Kind.
No one had to hide who they were, or their true emotion...or wonder if that cute guy was in fact gay. Everyone had a story to tell as to how they ended up in Sydney, and what it meant to them--one that can only be hinted at by the pictures.
Just as most of you know the difference between watching a game on TV and being there, my only regret is that all of you didn't get the chance to experience it live.
It's deeply disappointing that thte next Gay Games is in such trouble. I can only hope that something gets worked out so that all of you have a better chance this time of attending.
In the meantime, maybe you guys can come up with excuses to have more pics posted in the future other than just on the Gay Games anniversary!

And if you have pictures of Jim and/or Cyd in compromising positions, Brent, I can pay bribes. wink

Cyd seems to be on the radio--they're replaying a show on the Sirius OutQ feed from Tuesday.
Listen to Cyd talk about his boyfriend again

Since he came...and went....so quickly, fill us in on the latest DanUpdate!
There's no need to ask Cyd about his life--he's the Madonna of the Outsports World, perfectly willing to tell the media whatever's going on.
He's King of the World--soon to conquer NYC!

We had snow in April once a few years ago, but I'm sure that was a freak incident. I think May is safe...

Another great idea for this board!
Convention is going to be great.
BTW, Cyd's radio show...very funny. Was on with him today arguing the very real merits of women's sports.

You need to be on sometime when I can be home to listen to it...and let me know in advance, of course. wink
