I will be in NYC from Friday-Wednesday and would love to get together with some of you. I was thinking maybe Tuesday at a place that would show the Yankees-Red Sox. Would be informal and a great atmosphere. If anyone wants to pick a place we can go from there. Pretty sure I can talk Cyd into coming.

I'll be in Brooklyn at a panel of the national gay journalists convention this weekend. I speak Friday at 3 p.m.

Hi Jim. I will be out of town, so I will not be able to make it. One suggestion, though, would be to meet at the Barrow Street Alehouse. It's not a gay bar, but it's a nice gay friendly sports bar in the Village near Christopher St. and 7th Ave. S. A few of us have been there for football get togethers. I also started another thread about a get together for next Friday night, as a couple of out of town Outsporters will be in town then. Hopefully, some NY Outsporters can make one or both. Have fun!

I will be in NYC this week for work. I will probably be going up Sunday to see the parade with a couple of friends. I am not sure how much time I will have during the week to go out but Sunday night is probably good.

I'm not sure what my schedule will be this wknd. I've got some commitments I can't get out of and I really don't like to go downtown below 30th st.
anyway... instead of a bar or something. How about like meeting at Central park and doing the frisbee, football, lounging around thang?

Jim - I'm around all week. I've got two extra tickets for the Yankee - Red Sox game on Tuesday, 6/29 if you and Cyd want to watch at the Stadium with me and a friend. Also up for meeting with an Outsports group if you're all doing something over the next few days.

Why not go to the schism thread and discuss the issues there? I know that your info is greatly needed to ensure that there are facts roaming around that replace any rumors.
