Only this time its not about gays. He's talking smack about the Eagles secondary. Reading his comments make you wonder if he's actually seen a guy on his team named Jason Sehorn! This from ESPN.com:
According to a report in Newsday, the tight end implied during his weekly appearance on WFAN-New York radio that the Philadelphia Eagles' secondary is overrated and the unit has benefited from pressure generated from the front seven.
"I believe they get lucky a lot," he said. Later, he added, "They get beat a lot deep."
The Eagles have given up just two passing plays that have exceeded 32 yards this season, and in their four victories, they have allowed no passes over 30 yards. Shockey's longest reception is 28 yards.
The Eagles (4-2) lead the NFC East race as the second-place Giants (3-3) travel to Philly for a prime-time Monday Night Football matchup (ABC, 9 p.m. ET).

I saw that...ripping on my eagles is maybe more offensive than his other 'funny' comments:-) He sure is making a lot of noise for someone who has been on the sideline for most of the past two weeks. I'm looking forward to Monday night!

It's great that he mouths off. That usually stimulates the other team into playing even harder. I am sure Jim Fossil was not to happy to hear one of his players stoking a fire under the Eagles.

In my picks I was all set to go with the Giants plus the points, figuring that it would be a close game. At the last second I had a change of heart and went with the Eagles instead. I feel more strongly about it now that I read this moron Shockey's comments.

Way to go, Jeremy. Your team was a scoring machine last night. NOT!

Is that anything like the sorting hat from Harry Potter?

Okay, is it completely unChristian for us to gloat over the fact that Shockley's team lost? I mean, not only is he a homophobe, but he plays for a New York team - so 2 reasons to hate him
