Some shocking news: Ben and J Lo have broken up. I hope it's not too soon for you to be hearing this kind of news. And the actress who played Midge the Palmolive Lady ("You're soaking in it") went to that big sink in the sky. Mister Rogers and Captain Kangarooalso checked out and are appearing on Heaven's KidTV.

While you were gone, the Marlins beat the Yankees in the World Series while the Patriots edged the Panthers for the Super Bowl. Janet Jackson flashed her tittie at the halftime show and the nation was outraged. Next year's haltime will be the national "Rock Paper Scissors" final will be played.

At the movies, the Passion of the Christ is a huge hit after weeks of controversy. The Lord of the Rings picked up 11 Oscars winning each one they were nominated for including Best Picture. Charlize Theron was Best Actress for Monster and Sean Penn Best Actor for Mystic River. And Gigli, starring Ben and J Lo, was perhaps the worst movie of the year.

TV news includes the cancellation of Angel at season's end along with the triumphant return of AMerican Idol and Survivor. Too many other less noteworty reality shows have littered the sirwaves. The Sopranos returns this Sunday for its new season this Sunday night on HBO. Madonna and Brittany kised at the MTV Video Awards. Queer Eye for the Straight Guy became a cult hit on Bravo. And Friends is limping towrds it's final episodes with some of the lamest shows in their 10 year run.
