I get lots of packages from UPS. I am astonished at how handome alot of their drivers really are. Alot of them are really buff. I had a guy deliver just yesterday and too bad I don't have his photo. About 35- 6'4, short red hair and mustache. Really really something else. But I have seen few postal carriers who are very pleasing to the eye. Mine is overweight, fifties and altogether unappealing. Gives poor delivery of the mail is a big gripe with me but complaints are ignored.

A lot of the UPS drivers in my area are hot. Especially in the summer when they get to wear those tight shorts. We used to go to break and when we saw the UPS truck, my friend and I would loiter until we saw the driver, hoping it was hot guy. FedEx drivers not so. DRL also not so hot. And USPS, definitely not hot in my area.

It's all about the uniform. Something about the UPS uniform is magical ... even if the delivery man in question isn't actually all that good looking, the uniform goes a long way.

I agree that the USPS uniform does very little on its on. Put it on the right person, sure, it's nice ... but I don't think it has the same mystical powers as the UPS uniform.

Doesn't UPS sponsor a whole lot of amateur athletes? Is it possible there are enough of them for that to be a factor? There sure are an awful lot of buff ones.

Our UPS guy is nice looking, kind of thin black dude. But FedEx baby! Hes a big muscular black man!
DHL is a distant 3rd since they have those leftover guys from Airborne who are ugly, lol.

ok guys, UPS men are my number 2 fantasy. right behind stanfords mens swim team. this UPS thing has been a long obsession for me. i think it is all because i am very into calves and these UPS men wear little tight shorts and they have no car doors to the sides of their vans. so when you would see them coming, i would always check them out in that fast 1 second window of oportunity. love the legs. i told my friends that for the next hallowwen i want to be a UPS man, with the tight little shorts, and the unbottuned shirt, and i could go around with a package and clip board asking for guys to sign it, but they can really put their numbers down. ha im such a dork. oh and i get way way way pissed if i see the truck coming and it ends up being some female. i get depressed for the day (sarcasm).

LOL! Great idea about having them sign your clipboard! Just make sure you label the columns for name, phone number and "comments!"

Totally agree on UPS dudes over USPS slouches - no comparison - and NOT just because UPS is in the "private sector!" wink

And here I thought I was the only one to have the UPS fantasy. Those men really work hard on the job, which is why their bodies are so hard. A buddy of mine used to work for them, they sort packages weighing up to 70 lbs, at a very fast rate, then they "brown down" and deliver in those clever uniforms. I really love it during the summer when they wear those short shorts.

They wear the shorts here ALL YEAR LONG!! Another great thing about living in paradise!! Also, the cops in the summer wear polo style shirts along with their shorts!!

I agree with you, MS. I didn't realize the UPS guys wore anything but the shorts! Gotta love the tropics.

I've been known to wear my "I Fantasize about the UPS Man" t-shirt on days when I know a package is being delivered. Even the straight ones crack a smile when they see it.

One day the mailman (gay) and the UPS guy (straight) were in my office at the same time. The mailman asks if this is my fantasy come true, and before I can answer the UPS guy says "Shouldn't we wait for the FedEx guy first?" I told him we could go ahead and start without him, but would let him join in once he arrived.
