Now that the NFL Draft is over myself and all the reall football fans should be looking forward to the REAL Draft in a few months. That's right, I'm talking about the OFFL Draft. Am I the only one looking forward to the OFFL this coming season???

Last season was huge fun! But my end-of-season-Miami-Dolphins-like-first-round-playoff collapse has left me traumatized in the offseason. biggrin.gif wink

Yeah, we're looking forward to the real draft in a few months. You're right George, it was HUGE fun and season 2 will be even better. The reigning champs, Crush City Cruisers are going to try to repeat but I have a feeling some other teams are going to make it very difficult to do.

Approximately 100 days til draft!

I didn't become a Outsports member until after the draft had already taken place last season, and I already play in one Fantasy Football league, but I definitely wouldn't mind playing in another? What do I need to do to play?

Well first there is the expansion franchise fee which must be paid to all charter members. Second is the rigorous initiation, the details of which must remain private among league members. biggrin.gif wink

I am SO looking forward to it! biggrin.gif

OFFL was such an awesome experience! (I often told my str8 roommate about the happenings of our league... Complained about how a certain manager always offered ridiculous trades, how my division rivals always seemed to score abnormally high whenever they played against my Windmills, and how f---ing astute our good ol' commish was in all his selections, especially the adds/drops! (Theo, you're goin' down this year!!!!) biggrin.gif tongue.gif

But get this, although my (former)roommate played in a Fantasy League of his own, he actually asked me if he could join our Outsports League! (That is, if any franchises were to become available!) He was fascinated by the dynamics of our little group, and enjoyed hearing about the trash-talking on our message board! (Well, of course I censored what I chose to let him know! -Da Kid, don't fret! tongue.gif )

What I really wanna know now is, how many players can we keep?!!! It is really gonna be tough for me to decide who I protect! (I like my team so much that wouldn't mind keeping 12 of my previous players!)

A final note... my Windmills franchise has moved from Amsterdam to Ottawa! IPB Image

Eddie, you complimented me and then cut me down at the same time. Whassup wit dat? tongue.gif

I am looking forward to year two as well. As far as our rules go, it'll be decided soon we're going to be a keeper league or not and if so, how many players we'll protect.

Also, we will vote on expansion teams at the owners meeting in Palm Springs. wink

p.s. You did an Art Modell and moved the team from Amsterdam to Ottowa without notice. I might have to fine you for that.
