Full Version: NFL 2003. . . Is it just me . .???

Just about one more day and FOOTBALL is finally back. Just can't wait for that first kick-off in Tokyo. .

IS IT JUST ME. . . . or are other Outsporters(before the season even starts) already weary of the same old tired, negative, and purposely argumentative trash coming from PhillyFan???? . . and now others (including other Buc fans  ) are jumping in to counter his comments. . making for one big negative and "cut down after cut down" experience.

Ribbing one another and some smack talking can all be had in fun. . I know, I did some of that last year on my way to winning the season Pick 'em game (had to get that plug in there!!!! biggrin.gif ) . but the same old bashing back and forth . . . and negative dialogue in general is already old.

Solution?? IGNORE PHILLYFAN (and others) when he's obviously just putting out comments to raise emotions, put down others, and create negativity & friction. People like him that live life in such a negative tunnel starve for the attention this behavior brings to them and enjoy leading others into their miserable existance.

Here's to an awesome 2003 Football Season! May the best team WIN!!

I COMPLETELY agree BBB!! Where is that "ignore" button? It will be a MUCH more enjoyable experience without the misguided ignorance of Phillyfan.

I'm all for "may the best team win" (as long as the best team continues to be the WORLD CHAMPION BUCCANEERS biggrin.gif biggrin.gif biggrin.gif )

I look at it this way - look at what he had to endure last year. But at this point he should be moving on with his life (or moving on with scheduling a few more appointments with his Mental Health Provider). Or as Jon Gruden would say - "Turn the page..."

Pot. Kettle. Black. You keep complaining about him, yet YOU keep responding to him, knowing full well that he's only going to answer back again and again and again. So either you enjoy his posts or you're just...I dunno, a hypocrite? A moron? What? rolleyes.gif
Cadillac
I think it's time to "turn the page" on PF.
PhillyFan
LIke you could stay away fromt he jabbing pewter.. you're a dark sider... but that makes you who you are (yes we know the bucs won).

But really i have a point... yes everyone is gay and everyone is a sports fan.. but really come on... do you expect like... eagle fans and cowboys fans to join hands and sing a song? steeler and brown fans? packer-bears??????? i would think those people were born to hate eachother...

well either that or buc fans are just wusses...

But as that true american (WM1865) says... carry on.... with your love fest...

Actually, I do think it's just you and Pewter Pants.

Personally, I can't get enough Philly Fan, although I'm concerned that you Buc bandwagoneers are distracting him from his important life's work of irritating and attacking the Dallas Cowboys and their fans, and Hillary Rodham voters.
HornFan
Who knew it only took a Buc Super Bowl win to distract (but NOT completely) PF from Dallas Cowboys bashing. All you Pewter Princesses keep up the good work and the Cowboys will quietly re-build (PLEASE GOD!!!). biggrin.gif

PF may be a bandwagon hater, but he's an Eagle fan with conviction. (Now, if we could just get him actually convicted of something.)
Kenny
It's all in fun as far as I am concerned. PF is one of those load mouthes that you cannot help but respond, but hey, in one of the posts I offered him to come to Tampa for a game and I would buy him a beer and he wouldnt even have to wear it(as I am sure I would if I went to Philly!).

You know horn, making fun of cowgirl fans just isnt any fun... most of the have run back into their closet or changed teams... so all those fans from the 90's are gone... hiding, or wearing buc jerseys. Your choice...

Hey buc fans, i'm sure you're proud of the what, 30-14 win???? Looking at the scoring, i'm sure you're proud to know that your scrubs trying to make the team are better than the jet scrubs trying to make the team... 7-3 jets when it counted folks... Running the ball, it's a good thing, dont be afraid of it....

Well, we all know that PF think she's a skank...and a front runner... and jacks up her book sales by telling everyone how many she shipped, not sold. Somewhere there are about 200k books collecting dust somewhere... It's a little Enron Accounting from the Clintons.

However, it's nice to see CITT, a true American(except that whole Rolen thing), chime in... A true patriot of America. A man who fights for truth and justice....

Take the political garbage over to the P&R forum where it belongs.

Leave the football-related garbage here. wink
Kenny
Damn PF, thats ALL you got? I am VERY disappointed!
HornFan
This just in PhillyFan: Based on the Cowboys' scrimmage with the lowly Texans (they had a ton of guys sitting out with injuries) tonight, the 'boys will actually run their first successful screen play since Tom Landry was coaching. eek!
PhillyFan
I'm sorry.. what did you say horn... the cowboys were passing their drug screening??? Fat chance...

Aaah, the smell of football must be in the air, because it seems that this time of year, the emotions run high in all of us!! biggrin.gif
PhillyFan
Or, that smell is warren sapp after a large meal, in his case, what meal isnt large?

When you smell the coke in the air, you know cowboy camp is open.... when you hear the clip clap of high heels on hookers... you know their season has begun...

back to normal programming.
