What's the deal with this guy? The Rams are desperate for an O-Line, but is he the answer? He just seems like a wildman. I've only seen him throw the helmet, etc. I would love to hear comments. Thanks.

I've always heard he was a pretty solid on the OL. He threw his helmet that one time, but with most OL's they never get noticed till they do something bad.

Isn't Kyle Turley the poster child of roid rage?
The Rams are making some seriously questionable decisions. Apparently Mike Martz is also flirting with the idea of signing the over-rated pretty-boy, Jason Sehorn. No, not as spokesmodel: defensive back.
Double dose of bad bad news for Rams fans.

But dont forget Martz is a genious... Just when your roll your eyes at what Reid does, martz stepps in to say it's worse.
Turley is a solid OL.

Turley's solid (and sexy), but Sehorn is a joke. Stay on the posters, prettyboy. I'd rather have his wife, Angie Harmon, patrolling the the receivers. Sehorn blew it repeatedly for the Giants. Why the Rams would set up a blatant hole in their secondary like that is beyond me.
Martz is an arrogant jerk, but maybe last season taught him a lesson. Or maybe not. I also hope if the cute religious fanatic (aka Kurt Warner) starts screwing up again (or has a torn up thumb he's trying to hide), Martz gets his act together RIGHT AWAY and puts Bulger in there. That guy knows how to choreograph wins. Warner can sit on the sidelines and lead fellow zealots in prayer--for Bulger's success, that is.
BTW, Turley has the socialites in St. Louis up in arms because he supposedly just bought a huge pad right alongside the extremely exclusive Saint Louis Country Club (it's like over a century old and only Social Register types belong.)
They better be nice to him or he could open a can of roid-rage WHOOPASS on their blue-blood behinds!

Reviving this old thread it looks like CITT (what ever happened to him anyway?) is turning out to be a prophet with his comments from nearly two years ago now that it has been revealed that
Mike Martz has filed a complaint with NFL security regarding death threats that the head coach has received from his volatile offensive lineman eek! ....if this isn't a case of roid rage I don't know what is.
Hell, by comparison Kyle's actions almost make Bill Romanowski seem like a calm, rational citizen after the roid rage that the league ignored or responded by giving Romo "slap on the wrist" penalties and miniscule fines....hopefully, Tagliabue and the NFL execs have seen the error of their ways and will sideline Turley for far longer than his back injury would need to heal -- not to mention hit him HARD in the wallet....if that Jacksonville DB was fined 75K for his questionable clothesline "tackle" on the Green Bay receiver two weeks ago then threatening to KILL YOUR HEAD COACH certainly warrants a fine at least triple that amount.

Found a link to a two-week old article at ESPN.com about Turley, which says that his weight is down to 240 pounds -- his listed playing weight for the last few seasons was 309 pounds. Sounds like steroids to me.
