Full Version: Man can dance!

Susan Lu... er, Joe in Philly posted this link in another thread, but it's so joyful and fun that it deserves to be rescued from discussion board obscurity for a little while longer: Dance, Air Force, Dance! (wmv Windows Media video file)

Coming in a close second is the Numa Numa Dance (swf Shockwave Flash file), whose choreographer/performer apparently wants his 15 minutes to end NOW! Dance, Gary Brolsma, dance!

PS- I searched for the similarly-inspired Dancin' Aggies thread, but apparently it's faded away... Meanwhile, if you have the audio file of "The Star Spangled Banner" as sung by Daffy Duck, please post it asap.

THANK you, redsoxbreath!! That cadet was the funniest thing I've seen since, well, I don't know when. I needed that. (And, you know, he's actually not bad. For Solid Gold...)

In another thread, PatSanFran posted

What do you get when you cross an Air Force Academy cadet with Vanilla Ice?

azairforce replied

THAT WAS GREAT! I have a confession to make. I did the same thing in college. I could freak, rock, hustle, do the getter bug, the shag, and later all the Latin dances. I use to go to the black parties on campus and fit right in. It helped that I had all these black female friends that liked dancing with me.

After college I had two very studly black male friends. One had the same name as I do. He was such a stud, black, Native American and Portuguese mix. All the white girls (okay, I did too at times) drooled over him. Your cute too, they would say, but he is exotic. We use to get drunk and dance. I always danced in between them and we called ourselves the orioles.

The other guys name was Bill and he was a regular horn dog. He had a constant supply of chicks. He use to go to a gay disco with his female dates, partly because his dates were white and Boston was a bit racist in the early eighties. One night he ran into me and that is how they both discovered I was gay. Well it didn’t change a thing, except that Bill kept saying he wanted to have a threesome with me. It took me 20 years to understand what that meant. I now realize Bill was 100% bi and I’ve met so many more guys like him recently. Bless his heart he died before I tuned 30. He was diabetic and seemed to waste away like he had aids. I never did get a clear explanation of the cause of his death.

On a lighter note, I sure am glad to see lots white boys from the younger generation learning how to grove. Aside from the effeminate guys that danced like their sister, you just didn’t see many funky white guys in my younger days.

ROFLMAO, that is too cool! I would have paid cash-money for that sight. I might even have become part of Randy Jackson's dawgpound watching that....well, maybe not.

But you guys would probably have saved American Idol from blithering mediocrity.

But this time she wasn't "visualized by Zelma Davis" smile.gif

It's not a studly cadet, and the music is very, umm... fifties... but I really like this dancing video too. It helps if you're familiar with the original, although I don't expect many of you whippersnappers are.

Ok, you'd probably like it better if somebody over-dubbed a little Martha Wash... (That was a joke -- see, there's no such thing as a LITTLE Martha Wash. Get it? Har-de-har-har...)
