Those mighty Colts seem to be losing again....<snicker>....and Dallas/Carolina has produced a lot more points than I would've thought.

Pats @ Texans: a whale of a game! 20-20 with :34 left in the 4th. GO PATS!!
Joe in Philly
Pats win in OT!

And I guess I reverse-jinxed the Colts. But I'm sorry, I continue to maintain that they're the same bunch of underachievers they've always been.

Another weird week...Baltimore came back from 17 down with 7 minutes left to force OT...and I thought the Ravens had a great defense but not much offense...how did that game end up 41-41???

Most importantly the Eagles win again in spite of allowing yet another back to rush for 100+ yards. Andy has the offense working well, he just needs to shore up the rushing defense.

I can't believe the Titans are losing to the Falcons.

I can't believe the Dolphin's uniforms!
Jim at Outsports
I agree about the Dolphins uniforms!

Those uniforms took me by surprise too. Orange?! I thought for a fleeting moment I was seeing Brian Griese in his old Denver Broncos uniform. I much prefer the teal or turquoise or whatever the usual colour is called. Actually it was an entertaining game. Miami scored a TD on its first possession. But then Washington roared back after Jason Taylor put Patrick Ramsay out of the game, with QB Tim Hasselback (Seahawks Matt's brother) taking over. He was quite impressive, and I think the Redskins had something like twice the time of possession as the Dolphins by the end of the third quarter. I was glad to see Jay Fiedler get some playing time in the fourth, and he led the Dolphins to a comeback win.

As a lifelong Dolphins fan expecting them to come out in their turquoise tops, I was in shock to see them in those bright orange uniforms. I also felt like I need a glass of Tang! biggrin.gif
However, if this is what prompts a great comeback like they had last night against the Skins, they can wear orange all of the time! I get to smile at all of the Redskins fans around here today. The Dolphins really needed this game as they play in Dallas on Thursday.

Run, Ricky, Run!

I had picked the Colts to beat the Bills in a pool and I was really sweating there. I'd LOVE to be the meat in a Peyton-Drew sandwich.

Minnesota looked iffy for a while, but they were playing Detroit, so that worked out.

Atlanta blew a 21 point lead? Come back soon, Michael Vick! He should just sit out the season and get prepared for next year.

The Raiders suck but they were obviously going to be pumped up in Arrowhead. What's up with the Chiefs? They have the best RB in football in The Priest and they under-use him. Odd.

Go Giants! Finish off the Bucs for good!

Well, I suppose this might have been a clever marketing ploy. I suspect the Florida Orange Growers' Association cut a deal with the Dolphins to promote their products... (doesn't this icon look like an orange wearing sunglasses?)

Priest had 27 touches yesterday for 191 yards.

Sorry, what I wrote didn't make sense. One of my friends is a Chiefs fan that hates the way they use him. It got to the point that we were joking yesterday: "Nah, they're not going to run on first down, they'll pass". He gave up going "Arrrrgggghhhhh" after about the fifth time that happened.

Of course, it could have something to do with the fact that he has Priest in fantasy and wants him to get the ball on every play!

I'm actually concerned that they're using him too much, especially coming off the injury last year. We need a healthy and fresh Priest for the playoffs, because come December and January, it's all about being able to run the ball, and stop the run (which the Chief's defense seemingly has forgotten how to do).
