GO PATRIOTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! biggrin.gif

I see this being a very low scoring game. PATS tend to play to the level of their opponents. Both teams are defensive and don't necessarily boast prolific offenses. The Cowboys will successfully rattle Brady and won't be able to open up the pass because of the ineffective run game, i.e., Hambrick. The defense that wins the turnover battle Sunday night will walk away victoriously.

Pats 13, Cowboys 10

I basically agree with Theo. Lots of defense, no scoring. Go Pats!!

Yeah, I agree that it all comes down to defense...which makes for more stress. Much like last week against the Bills. Go Cowboys! http://home.comcast.net/~rjrocha/cowboys.gif

The Three Chuckleheads who announce Sunday Night Football really, really, REALLY need to shut. the. hell. up.

At one point, Theisman claimed that "Quincy Carter is putting on a quarterback clinic". Oh how we roared with derision! With every subsequent shit pass by Carter, it was "Yep, what a clinic! I'd pay to go to it!". He was awful and if that's a bump up from Worst Quarterback In The NFL (Or Close), he's still bad.

Pats didn't look so great either.

I nominate Theo for the prophet of the weekend - sure he horribly over-estimated the Cowboys (shut out twice in one season - he,he,he biggrin.gif ), but he was dead on- it was a defensive fest from the start. Tom Brady may not have the throwing ability of Drew Bledsoe, but he seems to be coming through exactly when he needs to. Loved the write-up on MSNBC, in which they pointed out his two long throws were more than 50% of the 1st half's yardage, and that it took Dallas 7 plays to reach the same 46 yards Brady had on one of those throws.

Dagnabbit, Quincy Carter should be a two-time loser, being a georgia bulldog and a cowpoke, but he's the QB of my OFFL2 AssBandits and he'd better shape up or I'm gonna hafta go all Dan Snyder on him!!!!!!!!!!!
