Intentional Tort Quiz

I'm False Imprisonment - be mean to me, and I'll pee in your car. :cool:

I don't know what a tort is ... and I'm too lazy to look it up ... but I took the quiz any damn way. I don't think it worked for me. It said I was battery. I'm far too petite and gentle to ever be physically agressive. Really. I am sweetness and light ... and, if I hit you, you'd kick my ass.

FWIW, a tort is a "wrong" that is not a crime. It's usually punished by money damages rather than jail time. Negligence is the classic tort, but there are also intentional torts such as those listed in the quiz.

Gaby - battery doesn't have to be a punch in the face. It's an "offensive touching." So, if you're drunk in the bar and you feel up some hottie, and he's completely repulsed, you've battered him.

Not that you'd ever do that. wink
