I have this feeling you don't watch a lot of Seinfeld. How about Farfel?

It's from Seinfeld.
Okay, how about this name: "Schiavo" ??

I'm in agreement that a pet's name should NEVER be more than 1 or 2 syllables.

What a great poll CHIathlete!
Perhaps our wonderful moderators can combine the two current threads to allow all outsports users access at the same time? That would be helpful to everyone.

Now wait what kind of dog is it? All of our dogs always had very specific names that usually applied to their character, OK 7 different Rusty Dogs was a bit excessive but they all were Irish Setters, and hey it was easier that way LOL although when telling stories it gets a bit muddy from 4-6. Which is how they are now refered Rusty 1-7 oh and this was NON gender specific, male or female all were Rusty.
The Mini Schnauzer, that we found during a hurricane, had a very specific name, he smelled funny, was a bit off, and just likeall of the other crazy german men my dad was friends with periodically peed on themselves, became
Oscar von Hurricane.
Our Bouvier who also sat sloppily and used to sleep on her back with her legs spread , became
Chantal's Kodismeki.....Meki for short
Because bouviers resemble bears, and Kodi is a Hungarian nickname given to my Tante Lisabett in Austria that always sent us teddy bears as kids, it was appropriate.
Then there was Seglunda, the german shepherd, whose favorite toy as a baby was a stuffed german shepherd from the Gund company, became
Gundy.
So think wisely, and at least make the story good, Although my favorite i think has always been
Diogi, which is phonetically

I have been monitoring the names and I am liking them. Id like to collect some more names before polling, though.
To refresh- black and tan miniature dachshund, female.
Thought of using Jagermeister, but Jager is a boy's name.
Snickers is way too overused...
I thought Skor might be cool- sporty and sweet (candy)...
I am enjoying this!!

Let's keep it up.

If I ever turn straight and impregnate a woman and have a daughter, I would so be naming her Haley. I love that name for a girl. Heck, if he has big muscles, I'd love that name for a guy!

Hey, I always use that one! And if you had a Mexican Hairless cat it would be "Sieti" - C-A-T.
Yes, Kick, tell us the verdict.

Alright, Alright!!
The pressure, the pressure!!
I actually chose a name outside the list...*awaits rotten tomatoes*
I have selected the name....
BOSCHIE
Bosch is a German tool company, known for its spark plugs
So I put a feminine spin on it and named my future puppy a name I felt described it... A German spark plug seems perfect description of a dachshund.
I do have a pic if anyone wants to see it- send a request my way.

In my house, it's known for its coffee maker. A positive association...
