Usually when I go to Miami for the winter, I chill in my crib (in South Beach) or go to the ocean. Haven't really investigated any of the bars or hangouts. Not really a club guy, looking more for a sports bar or chill dive bar to check out.

I've lived here over three years and the clubs aren't all that great. I can't really speak for South Beach or Miami, but in Ft. Lauderdale Alibi's is half way decent. The call it a sports bar, but it seems like I'm the only one in there who watches the games on the TV's. Alibi's is in downtown Wilton Manors. Just down the street there is a lesbian sports bar called Kicks. There are a LOT of clubs in Ft. Lauderdale; I don't go very often, but if you want more detailed information just let me know.
