Full Version: How a diehard Giants fan stays sane

You want to know how I keep my sanity after today?

Here's how.

In order to avoid a trip to the mental ward I have resigned myself to believe we lost today's game 21-13. That's right 21-13.

There was no amazing Eli comeback drive at the end of regulation.
There was no 2 point conversion to tie the game.
There was no overtime.

And although we dominated the game and Shaun Alexander is overrated and was outplayed by Tiki Barber. And although Hasselbeck was outplayed by Eli Manning. And although our defense outplayed their defense. And although our receivers made more big plays than their receivers, I accept the fact we lost 21-13.

Yes, that was the score 21-13.

I'll be okay now.

Now I can move on to the Dallas game.

LOL. I know how you feel - it was a terribly frustrating game. I simply turned it off after the third attempt at a winning field goal went bad. You knew what was coming, but I didn't want to see it.....

What number are you on the giants? Perhaps if you were out there, the kick would have been made?

Shaun Alexander didn't drop the ball.

And Jim, I think Cyd must have misquoted Cowboy's owner Jerry Jones. What he must have said is "I'm a mistaker." rather than a "risk taker".

Bledsoe and TO would light up the Birds for sure.

But what do I know. Back to the Giants. I think they are gonna do OK with Manning...dammit.

One legged Feeley must go! I have a new ulcer now-- I didn't think it was possible to be more depressed after the last two years of G-men cheering, but "Feeley Happens!"

Hey, Giant Dudes, your boys may have lost, but you've got to be optimistic about the future. Eli put them in a position to win that game; he showed some real poise. Hang in there...good things are coming for the G'nts!

Ummm.....Bledsoe handed the Birds a W up in the Northwest earlier this season.(Assuming we're talking Seahawks)

Welcome to the world of being snakebitten. The Vagies seem to be following the same path as the Chargers ... the out of nowhere offensive sensation that seems to be snake bitten at times, although the last 5 weeks San Diego's been the snake biting.
