Outsports is co-presenting gayfantasyfootball.com, a new Web site that hosts fantasy football leagues. Whether you're a beginner or an expert, whether you have your own league or want to join one with friends, there's something for you.
There are FREE options (and there will be prizes); and, for $10/person, you and your friends can have your own draft league.
Jim and I are moving our league onto this site. It's got an AMAZING set of functions. And, if there's something there you don't like, tell us - it may be available.
Check out
gayfantasyfootball.com and plan on playing this season!!

I'm not into fantasy leagues, but seeing as how Outsports is involved I'll think about it. wink

The free league is very easy. Every week, you just start whomever you want - there's no draft. Plus, there will be prizes, which we'll be announcing.

Cyd, when you say you are moving your league to the GFFL, do you mean the league that has been on the CBS Sports website the last few years? If so, the Portland Flames can't wait to sign up!!!

This just in: the AssBandits have denied band director Gerald Poe's request to be transferred from the High Falutin Muckity Ducks.
Duck owner MDB is said to be seeking legal protection from Poe's continued stalking. "We cancelled his contract, but he just won't leave," he said. "No further comment."

I'd like to move that league. But, I can't get Theo to respond to my emails. Anyone know how to get him?

Cyd, I think it would be awesome for the OFFL to join up. I was going to email Theo this week as well to discuss it with him. The Iowa Bears approve of the move! I don't think ThicknThin and the Greene Dragons will mind either.

I'm here and by now have responded to all emails. I do plan on supporting this new venture and moving the league for CBS Sportsline to GFFL.

The Miami Thunder is okay with the move. How can you have the OFFL without Da Kid. and all of his SMACK!!!!!!!!!!! I know I really haven't been around as much, but that's because of work and my NEW boyfriend. Between those two things I don't have time for much of anything, but as the NFL season fastly approaches, I have already informed my husband that I need some time for FOOTBALL. He's a BIG basketball fan so we watched those games together, but he's not into football. But never fear people, yours truly, the SMACK GOD, will be here to take homw what SHOULD be rightly his, the crown of OFFL champion!!!

Theo, I think that you should send an email to members in the OFFL about how to join and all the details that we need to know. Thanks!

For those of you who are newbies to Fantasy Football, I've written a short primer on some strategies you might use for your draft:

I've played fantasy basball in the past, but this is my first foray into fantasy football. The Condoleeza Ricecakes have joined the Blue League.

So apparently I'm in 7th place in the Blue Blitz league but on the standings page it says I have a record of 56-7-0. Ummmmm, what???
Jim at Outsports

That means you would have beaten 56 of the 63 other teams had you played them.
