LAST YEAR when Bruce Hunziker and Bill Hartey got into a lovers' spat, Hunziker smashed a window at Hartey's house, a neighbor said.
Early yesterday, when they got into a spat over Hartey's looking at another man when they were at a bar, Hunziker ran over Hartey with his SUV and killed him, police said.
\"They're having a fight and the fight gets so intense they pull over at a Gulf station at Knights and Woodhaven Road,\" said Homicide Lt. Mike Chitwood. \"They get out of the car and they exchange blows. Hartey crosses Knights Road and Hunziker yells, 'I'm going to run you over.' Then he throws the truck in gear, goes across the island on Knights Road, runs him over, takes off then hits a pole. He gets off the pole and drives home.\"
The article talks about how the dead man had been involved with women previously (two children with two different women -- he had been married to the first). Neighbors said that there were prior troubles between the two and that after an incident around Christmas, \"Hartey later told them that Hunziker had gotten upset when he told him he wanted to see only women.\"Early yesterday, when they got into a spat over Hartey's looking at another man when they were at a bar, Hunziker ran over Hartey with his SUV and killed him, police said.

As for the other... a celebration of six months together turned ugly on a plane bound for Vegas.

Montgomery Joe Carter, 37, was on a United Airlines flight from Washington to Las Vegas on Tuesday, according to an arrest affidavit. He and another man were going to Las Vegas to celebrate their six-month relationship.
Carter, who had been drinking, became angry and began hitting his partner, so the flight crew separated the men, the affidavit said.
Carter then allegedly shoved a pregnant flight attendant and pushed another attendant, the affidavit said. A third flight attendant blocked the path to the cockpit with a drink cart, enlisting the help of two passengers, it said.
The plane was forced to land in Denver and Carter was arrested. He was released yesterday on $10,000 bond.
