Ah, Miami, you know how those boys from nasty cities like Philly are - "inferior complex". I might be bitter too if I considered Philly "home" and my team lost the NFC Championship game at home to the Bucs in the Vet's last stand. Then factor in PhillyFan's mental health issues (see Bush supporter) and you have to have a bit of pity and compassion for his misdirected anger.

This has been a tough year for him. Eagles lose in Jacksonville, Iraq continues to worsen, STILL no WMD, Rove leak, Bush numbers tanking, etc.
Not that it excuses his poor behavior but it helps us to understand his *special needs*

On a related note, from SI, TO and McNabb in happier times.

I realize this is a funny thread so maybe this isn't the place for it but I heard that Eagles defensive lineman Jerome McDougal was shot in an attempted carjacking.

When I first heard it he was in critcal conditio but according to the article is now listed in good condition.

Sting already tried to beat you to the fact of making fun of someone who got shot while being robbed/carjacked. Could have possibly died.. etc.

Eagle fans booed TO today.

Don't know where you heard that, but from the footage I saw, all I heard were boos.

They took their best shots, and scolded Owens for hiring agent Drew Rosenhaus.

Finally, Owens stood up, turned to the crowd, cracked a smile and pumped his left arm up, urging them to make more noise.

The fans suddenly erupted in cheers and the same guy who was riding Owens the loudest started chanting the ``T.O.'' song. Owens flashed a wider grin, nodded his head in approval and walked back toward the field.

The clip I saw seemed like mostly boos, but I've also read that it was a mixed reaction. Seems silly to make such a fuss during a practice. Save it for the games!

I'm tired of this football soap opera already. Philadelphia newscasts can be so petty.

TO injures groin. Eagles fan cheer. But they will give him the sympathy he wanted from them. Now he doesn't have to practice, won't get fined, and doesn't have to listen to the boos.

Reid: A philly cheesesteak just isn't the same without the cheese or the steak. And with this low carb diet I don't even get the bread. I'm just eating onions and peppers.

Reid: I've even started drinking that new low carb beer by Budweiser. I really think they are just bottling Philly tap water though.

JB: TO is causing more disruption, but I think he will bow down like all the good little Iggles do. I'm still not paying him any more. I'll just turn our stoopid fans against him.

Reid: I've replaced by scrapple with fresh fruit. Does that mean I'm even from Philly any more?

JB: We just lost Pinky. We have no WR. I'm still not going to meet with TO. I know, let's not let him play at all. I have faith that our defense can not only stop opponents, but score more than them too.

Reid: God, how much more do I have to diet until I look like Nicole Ritchie?

Meanwhile, TO is laughing and relaxing in the Bahamas, knowing that some team will want him next year.
