Somehow, injuries during exhibition season seem more painful to me--the games are useless. Anyway, Bryant Westbrook will miss the entire season and Gilbert Brown will be out for 4 to 6 weeks.

Yeah Adam -- looks like GB is starting the season the same way they ended the last one, with all the injuries on the defense. Gilbert Brown is lost for the season (his bicep is torn) -- and his career may be over. So now the Pack need a new big guy as nose tackle; they're talking to Dan Wilkinson today.

(plus the first string offense really has struggled in the first two preseason games -- although none of the WRs are playing yet and Favre, of course, is in for just a few series)

This doesn't bode well for GB ... frown

Gilbert Brown's nuts! He's still trying to make the cut by playing with his torn right bicep. (the medical team constructed some sort of brace to enclose and protect his upper arm. He may geet some playing time this weekend vs. Carolina.

I have my doubts, but according to this article, it's working to build morale on the team -- he's demonstrating to other players with minor or no injuries that they gotta try harder. I like that.

Yikes -- with 3 of their 5 WRs out to injury now -- things have gotten so bad in Packerland that they're talking about resigning Antonio Freeman (a step backward -- this is gonna be a long season ...)

I'm just happy Donald Driver wasn't too seriously injured from his scary landing -- he'll miss at least next Sunday's game.
