Team Kamanawanalaya is back for another season of OFFL II and I'm kicking some booty to get into the playoffs. I lost out by one stinking point last season. The Kamanawanalya's have refocused and gone back to basics. We are now called the "Kamanawanalaya Boys"! Our 2004-2005 motto: Play Hard, Play Fair, Play Rough...and lay everyone in sight. Bring. It. On.

I get the Dallas Bigg Nutz opening week. The cowboys and vikings play the season opener as well. And just like that game, the team with the most vikings on it will win!

Just wanted to bump up the thread in the hopes of getting more people to join league II. so far there are 7 teams, leaving room for 9 more. Only 1 month til the draft!

All of your lttle leagues, but we all know that "THE ORIGINAL" OFFL is top dawg around here! Da Kid., sultan of SMACK we'll be back again. Unfortunately, I'll be in Dallas on business. I just checked my laptop and it won't allow me to "live draft" so I'll be ranking and hoping for the best....

Pewter, if your business laptop is like mine, you still might be able to join the live draft. Try connecting to the internet from home, but then
do not access your business programs through the system firewall. You should still be able to access internet sites like Yahoo. With the firewall off, you can open the java windows you'll need for the Yahoo live draft.

oooh, you can get to a Kinko's computer station? Granted, not as nice as wearing nothing but a towel and smile while eating room service while you draft, but it's an idea.

No, no piddle . . . yet. That comes when we get to find out our draft order. We have 30 minutes to get our strategies in order. I have mapped out many strategies depending on what number I am.

I may also piddle if I get a good QB/WR combo.

Hmmm, a good QB/WR combo in fantasy land...I think mine would be David Carr and Brandon Stokley. wink

I'm looking forward to the draft tonight. I'm even blowing off a new love interest to partake in the live draft. I'm gonna have to stop by teh store on the way home and pick up some beer so I can enjoy a nice cold one while putting together my unbeatable team!

As much as I think David Carr is hot...he didn't make my team. Now if I was drafting the hottest guys in the NFL he'd be my starting QB!

Hey, when I finally drafted a QB, after I drafted WR and RB's who come near the top of the Depth Chart (unlike other people), Joey was one of the only viable options out there. And he does have one hell of a receiver corps out there with Rogers, Williams, Street, and Hakim. And if he checks down a lot, he'll throw to Jones, who by the way, WON'T be a Bench Jockey by week 3. eek!

Awww, sweetie, by the time I play you in Week 12 you'll have a whole new lineup. I expect you to be dropping your pansy players by week 5 or 6. How many INTs will Joey have by then. I'm guessing 22.

But, by Week 12, Warrick will still be #2 to Johnson. Don't let that bother you too much! MUAHAHAHAHAHAHH!

Santana Moss = #2 guy and the biggest cock-tease in Fantasy Football last year.

Larry Fitzgerald = Dead Man Running with McCown (a true who-dat) throwing to him. And then Anquan will return, dropping him to #2.

William Green = Got stabbed in the ass by his girl. Can't stay out of trouble. Lee Suggs will be the go-to guy.

Peter Warrick = #2 to my guy, but we covered that before.

Steve McNair = This year may be the year that the battery packs that charge his bionic body parts fail. His heart pumps more painkillers than blood. Good luck with that.

And how can you say that Darrell Jackson is a risk? He plays in a high-flying offense, across from Koren "I like to drop things and be inconsistant" Robinson.

McCareins will get the receptions, but Moss will get the yards and TDs.

Warrick will get return TDs.

Fitz has an in with Green. He won't be pulled.

McNair may not match last year's MVP performance, but he plays smart. He won't throw more INTs than TDs, unlike a certain cutie QB.

William Green was a bad choice and is expendable. I expect Fargas to come on strong, and the other Green and Bennett can carry me until then. The NFC north has no defense. Well, except when they play the Lions.

Your problem will be all the Lions stealing TDs from each other. Oh wait, they don't score TDs. Maybe you should have picked up their kicker.

Yeah, but the kickers started going in the 4th round, and I was still collecting my WR at that point. I didn't stand a chance. hahahahhaah!

I do have to give you props on the Boo Williams pick up. You took him right before me. But again, he's gonna split red zone TDs with McAllister.

That's ok, I have McAllister too.

That's what I mean. They can't both score on the red zone visit. Too many players on 1 or 2 teams limits the number of red zone visits you have, thereby limiting your total scoring potential. Unless you have the QB/WR combo...such as Culpepper/Moss then you get double points.

Or like you with Joey/Williams, but we all know that'll just result in INT. wink

Yeah, but that is a team that can GET to the endzone multiple times in a game. The Cardinals? Sorry, but not this year.

That's why I have Ahman Green, Bennett, and Crumpler. High power offenses.

Well, it wasn't like taking a kicker in the 4th round, or drafting David Boston, but . . . .

Bennett won't get the <5 yard touches, but should get a lot of yards and enough scores to still be worthwhile.

I think my favorite player on my team could become Fitz. When Dennis Green had Jake Reed and Cris Carter, I think they went 3 or 4 straight years with both receivers hitting 1,000 yards.
