I'm excited about tomorrow's matchups, in particular:

San Diego @ ED McCaffrey & The Broncos
New England @ Miami
Oakland @ Buffalo
Pittsburgh @ New Orleans

I even think Tampa Bay @ Atlanta is going to be the beginning of a great NFC South rivalry.

Easy to get excited about Drew Bledsoe in Buff and Michael Vick in Atlanta, but I think San Diego's Drew Brees and LaDainian Tomlinson may run into trouble with Denver's defense.

Despite Beating New England last week Brees IMO was not as good as Brady, even with Brady throwing two interceptions. Bronc's defense may give the Chargers more trouble. With D's that have 300 pounders ,who can run, dropping on them, a running back oriented offense may have a limited lifetime. Chargers may have to adjust or die. Brees may be on the spot.

I'm most excited by the fact that the Yikes, er I mean Vikes, are off!

Anyway, yeah a great bunch of games. Bills-Raiders will be a shootout. I really wish Pats and Fins were coming into the game unbeaten, but it should still be a great game. The Chargers come in to Denver with a real shot for the first time in a long time. The Browns-Ravens could be a good game. Heck, the Panthers-Cards could be good. Great day of football.

I read yesterday that Fox has made the Eagles-Jaguars their primary late game instead of Rams-49ers. 58% of the affiliates will now show Eagles-Jaguars.

Check out Steve Spurrier's comments on his QB selection for tomorrow...I almost feel like going back and picking the Titans...

Spurrier defensive over QB call for Wuerffel

Buffalo just couldn't hang with Oakland today. No real surprises for me in the noon games other than Vick leavining the game with an injury. I somewhat expected Miami to contain New England, and that they did.

Does today's result mean New England is back to overrated status?

I guess we won't have a debate in Washington about whether Shane Matthews or Danny Wuerffel will start from now on.

I could see the Eagles loss coming from a mile away. They were way too sloppy last week against an expansion team, and continued that trend today against a good team. This is one of the times when I wish I were home, to hear everyone jumping off the bandwagon on the sports talk station.

Gannon and Garner KICK ASS!

Hope the old guys at Oakland hold out. Loved the interviews with Woodson, Rice and Brown. All good, all cute and, most important, all too old for me to call "kid."

Nice to see small time local alum Garner (University of Delaware Blue Hens ?) making a big noise in the big time.
