Every once in a while an inspirational story comes to light that makes me take stock and wonder if I'd have this sort of stamina. This 11 year old boy suffers from Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, (collagen deficiency) He's prone to dislocations, easily torn and bruised skin, prolonged bleeding, fatigue, debilitating pain. But one ironic effect -- increased flexibility.

Yet he lives to play baseball! Go Jack!

What an inspirational story! Thanks for sharing it with us, DCBucky....any parent who has forgotten what tremendous benefits sports can provide to kids should read about Jack and his love of baseball....Let's hope he has another great season and although Jack is only 11 he definitely seems to be enjoying every moment on the field even though his athletic "career" is likely to be very short due to his rare illness...as you said Bucky, Go Jack!
