Last night's game determined this week's overall winner. Thanks to the Packers victory over the Bears, MarinerDuckBoy wins the week by virtue of the tiebreak.

The consensus was most done in by the Jags upset of the Eagles and the Ravens triumph over the Browns. The Redskins victory over the Titans also proved costly. Overall we were 326/560 for a .582 percentage-not bad, not great. The Packers defeated the Bears in the tiebreak game by 13 points. * indicates those who picked the Bears. Here are the standings for the week:

Thank You, thank you. I'd like to PERSONALLY thank the 11 teams that played their guts out to propel me to this victory. I'd especially like to thank my mentor, Captain Comeback himself, Mr. Joey Harrington, for telling me to never give up! After finishing DEAD LAST in Week 2, I went back to basics. I studied the players, studied the schedule, studied the statistics, studied..hey, I told you no horseradish on my hot dog!! uh....oh....and yes, even stripped down to my boxer briefs, dropped down to my knees in front of my life size cutout of Joey and rubbed my dog's poop all over myself to give me wisdom & luck...oops, was that my internal voice talking out loud again? Oh, and on a personal note: Hey Theo & GP

I'd like to thank SpartyOn for cushioning my descent to the bottom.

There's always next week...didn't I say that last week?
Trevor
Hey, I'm pretty happy here!! I went from the bottom back to near the top.

Well this rambling makes Sally Field's Oscar speech seem downright coherent!

Way to go MDB. Nice week!
Theo
Quacky, was that a shout out or a thank you for the inspiration?

Exactly what I predicted...and I picked the Redskins as well. Yet I'm sure I'll still be way back in the pack in the overall standings.

One week every year, I miss a game because of a typo. This week it was the Giants. I know it's a typo because I'm on another pickem game and got it right. I hate it when that happens.

The Redskins winning should never be a surprise.

Well, I didn't do as badly this week against everyone as I thought I did!

George, YTD numbers????? I know that takes a bit longer.
