The Titans are just crushing the Panthers in Carolina 27-3 just about at the half. And the Bengals are rolling over the Ravens 24-7. Neither the Panthers or Ravens are equipped to make a huge comeback.

How much better will the return of Vick make the Falcons. They are just awful right now. Can 1 player, even if it is Vick, make that much difference? Maybe he should sit the rest of the season, cuz the Falcons aren't making a playoff push. Even the 'Aints are thumping them and the Aints stink.

The Cowboys, in what could have been a letdown game after the big win over the Eagles last week, are crushing the Lions in Detroit 28-7.

Yep. How 'bout them Cowboys? America's Team is coming back to a dome near you. Stay tuned.

Vikes stay unbeaten winning 28-20 over Broncos! Woo hoo!!! Looks like Pack are going to lose again. Sorry Bucky but now you know how I felt last season!

Heads are going to roll in the Meadowlands. How the hell do you give up a game winning punt return? And Shockey punting the ball intot he crowd after scoring was just stupid. He had 17 yards with a fumble and a drop for the game. A-hole! Giants are now firmly and solely cemented in last place 3 games behind the Cowboys. Wonder if McNabb's job is safe?

Sapp came out onto he field and skipped around and kicked the endzone marker to show his frustration. God, grow up. What an idiot!

Pats get a big OT win in Miami. Chargers finally get on the board with their first win. That puts New England into first in the AFC East.

Bengals only 1 game out of first after beating Ravens. With this division looking as weak as it does right now, Bengals could, dare I say, win the division.

Sapp is an utter creep. Enough about him.

The Cowboys are riding what is turning out to be an easy schedule, since the other teams are turning out to be so mediocre. They might finish with 10 or more wins.

Cleveland loses today, but is only 1/2 game out of first place, I love the NFL !!

Lots of upsets today! Cinci? San Diego? Philly? The Niners?

What the...
phillyrunner
If you look at the Las Vegas odds, Philly was a 3 point dog and Cinncinati was a 1.5 point dog, hardly what I would consider big upsets more like toss-ups. San Diego was closest to an upset as a 5.5 point dog while San Francisco was 3.5 dog.

I think what seems to be bad will actually turn out to be good as 3rds string Danny Kannell takes over for the dislocated fingered, carried off on a cart, Steve Buerlein. G-Lo, Vikes should have beaten my Broncs my more but the narrow escape shows the real Vikes.

At this point in the season, the teams to beat are the KC Chiefs and the TEN Titans.

I find it truly amazing that any Viking fan could say anything about other teams players doing something stupid and idiotic. I am sure he doesnt need reminded about Moss' childish moronic actions on and off the field???

But we have to play mediocre teams like the eaglets, they're in our division.

Actually, from what I can tell (watching a couple Vikes games and reading the Star Tribune regularly to keep up with the enemy!), Moss has quieted down this year off the field and has turned it on every game on the field -- he has really had an impressive season. So maybe he has left the trouble behind him.

At any rate, it's now time for Favre and the Pack to get over this stupid Dome jinx and beat Moss and the Vikes in the Mini-Apple in two weeks (ain't holding my breath though!) Otherwise they can kiss the season goodbye frown

I'm just happy the JETS and RAMS won! The Jets--well, if they'd lost to Houston they should just hang it up. The Rams are looking better and better, especially after defeating the Favre-led Packers. Arizona and Atlanta weren't good teams but the Packers are decent, so that was huge.

Mini-Apple is looking pretty good (and so is Daunte Culpepper--yumm!). The NFC in general, though, appears to be a lot weaker than the AFC.

Glad Steve McNair's Titans won again.

Too bad for the Giants, but I'm also glad McNabb one. His thumb is in bad shape--I think that's behind the Kurt Warneresque performances.

Great that San Diego and Cincy won--go underdogs!

Poor, misguided, jealous, bitter Theo! wink wink wink Actually though, the Vikes have been losing games like this the last couple of seasons, so this is a marked improvement. Which are the real Broncos-the ones who beat the Lions 20-16 and the Steelers 17-14 (both at Denver, FYI)? tongue.gif

When Moss was doing stupid and idiotic things I had lots to say. One thing I'm not is a homer who wears blinders about anything having to do with my team. Moss seems to be growing up, which is alot easier to do when you're winning. Hopefully he'll keep on track.

Speaking of Randy, how about that freakishly amazing play he made yesterday where he flipped the ball over his shoulder to Moe Williams for a TD? Very fun stuff!

Isn't that what I said?

Point of order: after 7 weeks, 21 of the 32 teams have already lost at least 3 games.

He didn't win. That game was won in spite of him.

He's supposed to have some leg injury as well, though that's not affecting him as much.

Fantomas, if that is the cause for McNabb's atrocious play throughout the season (including yesterday's dismal 9 for 23 for 63 TOTAL passing yard performance) then Andy Reid needs to get some cajones and do what is in the best interest of his team by benching McNabb for A.J. Feeley, who led the Eagles to a 4-1 record as a starter last season -- Andy, have you heard about the Kurt Warner vs Mark Bulger situation in St Louis and looked at their results since the change was made?....after being outgained 339 yards to 134 by the Giants on Sunday (and STILL somehow managing to win the game) McNabb should give his entire paycheck to Brian Westbrook for his last-minute punt return along with the defensive lineman who stripped Kerry Collins of the ball when NY was inside the Philly ten yard line and ready to put the game on ice.

As for the Cowboys 5-1 record, I still don't expect to see Dallas in the playoffs and think they will be lucky to finish at 8-8....when you look at their remaining schedule (now that the portion playing high school-caliber teams is over) they've still got to face Tampa Bay, New England, Carolina, Miami, Buffalo and New Orleans along with their remaining intra-divisional games against the Redskins (twice), Giants and Eagles....call me a disbeliever if you will but with their obvious lack of a running game and Quincy Carter's inevitable return to mediocrity, I cannot consider the 'Boys to be one of elite teams in the NFC by any means.

Koy is the back up...AJ is the 3rd string qb. Feeley will not be playing. Let's not forget the teams that AJ played last year were not that great.

That being said... me playng QB right now is an upgrade. hell, rush limbaugh playing qb right now is an upgrade.

I thought that was the case, too, but the reason why I identified Feeley is because the Fox announcers throughout yesterday's game were continually focusing upon AJ (as were the cameramen) and debating when he would be inserted as the starter -- I guess the Fox football crew (especially the moronic Cris Collinsworth) didn't know what the hell they were talking about either.

While I certainly don't agree with ANYTHING Rush Limbaugh has to say, you gotta believe he is sitting in drug rehab (in his specially designed suite, no doubt rolleyes.gif ) laughing his ass off over McNabb's performance following his infamous comments on ESPN earlier this month.
