Time to move on from Jeremy Shockey and turn our attention to that psychological basket case known as RANDY MOSS.
Mitch Albom, the extremely respected sportswriter, wrote this column about Moss: MITCH ALBOM: A life spent thinking rules don't apply
I thought some folks here might find it interesting, especially this little anecdote:
[quote]After a game in which he caught the winning pass, reporters waited 50 minutes by his locker. That's a long time. Other players had showered, dressed and left already. When Moss finally showed up, before a reporter uttered a word, he screamed at the group to back off, get away from him.
"What're y'all, a bunch of faggots?"
He then suggested the male reporters wanted to perform a certain sex act on him. He laughed about it, then yelled over to another player that homosexuality must be why we were there. The player laughed along nervously. It went downhill from there.
(Emphasis added).
Are Moss's words anti-gay, or merely anti-sportswriter? I think it's: BOTH.
This is the final straw. I've admired Daunte Culpepper since he was at the University of Central Florida, and if he's fed up with Moss, I think's it's OK for the rest of us to share that attitude.
I've got far more problems with Moss's comments than Shockey's. Anyone else?
