Full Version: The NFL's Worst Team

Since we already have a weekly Power Poll, I thought why not a discussion of the league's worst teams. The sole criteria for the poll is all the teams have only 1 win. So who do you think is the worst team in the NFL?

Hmmmm, with 15 votes so far, looks like the Cardinals are leading the "ugly sister" contest. No surprise there......

Is anyone surprised it's the Cardinals? They are awful year-in, year-out. And why: the ownership, under Bill Bidwill. He has never done what it took to field a truly competitive team. Even when he had great players over the years--Jim Bakken, Dan Dierdorf, Theotis Brown, Jake Plummer, etc.--he's always found a way NOT to have enough support around them to win. This year, they thought they were going to get away with the Emmitt show, and...well, maybe Emmitt will sincerely consider retirement. I don't doubt the Rams, the Seahawks, and the 49ers are glad they're in the same division as Phoenix's abysmal excuse for a football team.

I have no beef with the tampa bandwagon fans this week, in fact, they are my second favorite team (this week only)... Tally ho!
Cadillac
that's right, this "bandwagon" fan has had Buccaneer season tickets for 14 years now...

It's ok puker, i support you and your lil bandwagon friends (this week)... however at 3-3 they have left the sinking ship.

Have a talk with Twinkie Sapp and tell him to fight the O line, not slavery... we fixed that a few years back.

Pretty clear that the one and only key to the yucks O was JJ... but just an observation.

Can we stick to the topic? Why do you guys have to ruin every football thread with this crap? It's not like you haven't been asked a bunch of times. Really just disrespectful to the rest of us football fans at this point. The moderators allowed you your very own thread for your little bitch fights.

Anyway as for the poll, not surprisingly the Cardinals are way in front with the Bears second. The Jaguars have not received any votes as of yet.

Well, gotta go with the Cards on this one. Will admit that I have not seen the Chargers this season, but the Cards were SO bad against the Cowboys, that they get my vote, with the Lions coming up just behind. I love the Cowboys, but they are really just mediocre. They have been executing very very well all season but the Bucs exposed them yesterday. Disrupt the Cowboys' on-field plans and they look just like they did last year...and against a Bucs team that does'nt appear to be as good as last year. From the General Manager and coaching decisions to the quality of play, they are just plain BAD.... eek!
DCBucky
I had to vote for the Lions, using the convoluted logic that since the Cards beat the Pack, they couldn't be the worst team -- and now that they also beat the 49ers, it's even a better case for Detroit.
