Did anyone see this weekend's Saturday Night Live? He did a pretty good job though the show itself wasn't very funny. There was a skit where he was an office worker who was sexually harrassing a female coworker while he walked around in his tighty whities! He also did a "commercial" for Tom Brady's Falafal House that was kind of cute. He wore a middle Eastern outfir that exposed most of his chest. He doesn't have future in comedy but he didn't humiliate himself either.

You mean
this outfit?
I only saw the sketch where he's getting married and hungover, and his annoying niece is being... annoying.

By good job, I meant he didn't flub his lines. The fact that it wasn't funny was the lame writing. "The Greatest Actor of Our Time" Robert DeNiro once hosted and he flubbed more lines and cue card reads than a 6th grader at an Arbor Day pageant. So he did a better job than Bobby D.

But Brady has zero stage presence unless he has a helmet on, then he's transformed. wink

Granted Brady does not have much of a stage presence other than eye candy. I watched it and thought the best skit was the sexual harrassment and the scene with him in his underwear. wink

How could I not have known this? I'm so pissed...he's my fave. Never get tired of looking at him. All I needed to read was that Tom had a seen in his underwear...who cares how bad the acting might have been...

The skit at the end - with Peyton, Donovan and Mrs. McNabb - got me chuckling.

Sure, he's hunky, but he's no Fran Tarkenton.
Didn't Joe Montana also host SNL once? Steve Young? Dan Marino?

Joe Mantegna (from
The Godfather) hosted once. During the monologue, there was a bit in which a man and his son attempted to walk out, explaining that they had come to see Joe Montana.
Joe Montana did host. In one skit, he even told his "wife" he was going upstairs to masturbate. I thought Brady did a fine job. I mean, what can you expect. One thing my partner and I both noticed was how gigantic his hands were.
Another NFLer who hosted: some guy named OJ something.

Tom Brady is scheduled to appear on "This Week with George Stephanopoulos" on Sunday. Brady is slated to discuss steroids and the NFL, congressional involvement in professional sports, and his interest in politics during the "Images and Voices" segment.

I'm gonna have to disagree on this one. I like looking at the pretty boys as much as the next guy, but if you can't cut it as a comedic actor (and that's fine - most of us can't), stick with the photo layouts. Thinking like this is what gives us things like Ashlee Simpson and O-Town.
