Alas, it wasn't beer at all--I am out of beer. But PF wanted the Visual Presentation pronto, so I improvised with orange/pineapple powdered drink mix...mixed with the "finest" Philly tap water! eek! wink It may look darker in the picture because of the lighting and/or because of the mug being one of those that you put in the freezer and let the trapped liquid freeze, so you don't need ice cubes. But it was beer in spirit.

A few final observations on why the Birds should beat the Cowboys this weekend.

A cold stadium and hostile environment doesn't bode well for the boys.

The Eagles have given up 100 yard plus running games to premier backs and still won each game. The Cowboys running game with Hambrick(3.2yds carry) is hardly a cause for concern ranking 13th. The Eagles triumvirate running attack averaging over 4 yds carry will be more difficult to defend against.

Biggest reason is Quincy Carter vs DMAC. While one QB has has been improving the other is going in the opposite direction. Consider Quincy's QB ratings vs DMAC over the last 3 months.

Sept QC 73 DMAC 51
Oct QC 84 DMAC 58
Nov QC 64 DMAC 103

Q.C. has 11 interceptions since the last meeting while DMAC has 3.

Well, there are indications that the Eagles themselves aren't having people arrested, like they did when they were at the Vet. They're merely throwing them out of the Linc. The judge says he doesn't think the job (of cleaning things up) is finished yet.

Personally, I think that making the announcement this week -- with Dallas coming to town and with the snowstorm (although they say they're cleaning up the stands completely) -- was a psychological ploy.

I posted the link to that before in one of the baseball threads after I got it. I'm very disappointed to find that you don't read every single post of mine. I know it'll take awhile, but... wink I think all the bobbleheads have that general round shape. Unless there are bobbleheads of porn stars around.

FAMOUS LAST WORDS!!!! wink Bill Parcells, coaching genius? If so, then why did they run it less in the second half? They did fairly well with the running game in the first half (though not as impressive as the previous teams that ran on the Eagles) and gave up on it way too soon.

The Eagles are the first team in the NFL to clinch the playoffs, while the poor Cowboys are trying to hang on to a playoff spot as the Packers are just one game back.

Joe, does your comment from the early part of the season that "The Eagles will not make the Super Bowl (or was it the playoffs?) with Andy Reid" still hold? I did a search for "Andy Reid" and I saw some people talking about playing Koy Detmer.
