One woman's dream is another man's nightmare.

With Condi, could we expect to see the season opener in Baghdad? Or even an expansion franshise perhaps. The Baghdad Rebels?

Kudos to Tagliabue though. He did a great job. He is one of the top commissioners, in any sport, of all time. I'm sure he is just exhaisted from having to deal with all the idiot players, coaches, owners, agents and officials that have infiltrated the league over the years.

Well, it appears that Jeb Bush is now in the running for the position.

Bush Privately Approached About Opening

This makes me really uncomfortable, not just as a football fan, but as someone who worries about closeted athletes. Methinks Bush wouldn't go out of his way to make those athletes feel more comfortable.

I get the feeling Jeb is floating his own name as a possible--"someone" approached him about the job.....I am reminded of something from my work experience: a coworker boasted that "someone" had approached he about taking a job at another company-- I was the "someone" having merely seen an ad in a newspaper.

Never in its history has the NFL gone outside their own to choose a new Commissioner and can't see them starting with Jeb Bush.

I really hope Rich McKay of my Falcons doesn't get the job.

Well, at least it will keep him from running for president.
