WOW, i'm going on MOJO vacation for just one day folks... i'm mojo'd out for 24 hours and a tad bit hung over... go figure.

With that Said.. GO EAGLES!

I thought my Dolphins would be able to have a different typical December after the Thanksgiving Day performance against Dallas. But, yesterday was simply awful. ...and now they've got the Eagles. With no disrespect to the Titans and Colts, New England and Philadelphia appear as the two best teams in football.

I think this will be a very tough game for the Eagles. It is very hard to sustain this type of winning streak on the road although the Monday Night component evens the playing field somewhat. The Dolphins are favored.

That said, Eagles Mojo has prevailed thus far. I think we need another poem from Phillyrunner to kick off the Mojo this week.

It's so funny to me, a very casual Eagles and football fan, that the Eagles seem to garner so much 'mouth'. Yes, I'm sure it JIP v PhillyFan causing so many of the postings, but it's funny to see the posting number increase even before the teams get near the field.

That 'mouth' you hear is called passion, something you don't see much of from fans of many other cities. And now for a variation on the Eagles fight song:

It's also because people like me, non-football fans, are drawn in, because as a life-long Philadelphian, I root for my home town teams. I might not watch the game, but I still want the Eagles to win.

You should be happy that we can agree on something, and that is the eagles MOJO. Maybe some others should try it.... NOW, get off the bandwagon, it's too late to jump on... away.

No -- that's where I should be today after going to El Vez. El Vez is the restaurant where Trust used to be at 13 & Samson. They call it contemporary Mexican food. It was excellent!

Sorry Raze -- I didn't see Steer and/or an Onion Blossom on the menu

JIP -- shall we expect another notable Mojo post this week from you?

I suspect we will get more pictures to rally the troops?

Maybe all of you should just go over to JIP's house for say... dinner (JIP can cook for good luck). Then have a big group photo?

There's an article in today's paper regarding the stat that defensive coordinator Jim Johnson worries about most -- NOT the running yardage piled up by opposing (and losing) teams in recent weeks...the average-yards-per-pass-attempt.
