Talk about an exciting game, lots of offense, big time hits, passionate play and most important the EAGLES seal another win woo hoo! They overcame the odds to win their first game in Miami. Oh and another 100 yard rusher goes down for a loss. Bring on those Niners.

Donovan McNabb has a knack for looking great without even having to throw a TD like in tonight's game. But then again he doesn't have the greatest wideouts. But he may be the best QB at managing a game and making smart decisions to move an offense.

Wow! Over 100 posts in the past week to discuss a single, regular-season game. I must say it was quite an entertaining game, even though I was cheering for the Dolphins, who appear to be on the verge of missing the playoffs. I see the Eagles have a capable back-up QB in Freddy Mitchell, who took a lateral from Donovan McNabb and threw a great TD pass.
What happened at halftime? I thought we were supposed to see Doug Flutie and Bryan Scott square off in a music talent competition, but all I saw on my screen was a far-away shot of the field with some sort of activity that I couldn't make out, and no commentary by Madden or Michaels. Later they told us that Flutie won the contest, but they didn't explain why we never saw it.

Ricky had 107 yards in 18 carries. Take away the 45-yard run and that leaves 62 in 17, or 3.6 yards per carry -- quite manageable.
The offense is getting better and better. They're carrying the defense for a change.
Marc: they did show the halftime show here. (I wasn't paying attention but I don't think you missed much.) I imagine if you just got the ABC feed, perhaps the halftime stuff was for the US audience only. What network televised it there?
Did you hear the roar from the crowd on the first play from scrimmage??? That was awesome.
FLY EAGLES FLY ON THE ROAD TO VICTORY!!!!

Joe, considering Doug Flutie played much of his career in the CFL and that the Barenaked Ladies are a Canadian band, you'd think they WOULD show it up here!

For some reason, Monday Night Football is shown on two different channels here, one local and from the ABC station in Spokane, WA. Oh well, like you said, I probably didn't miss much! Better to miss the half-time show than the game itself.

Ok, so I was happy the Eagles won, but would it have hurt to keep Ricky out of the endzone? I was happy until that point.

My favorite part of the game was when they showed the eagles picking Donovan McNabb as their draft pick and watching how crazy the fans went booing. Class.

My favorite part was when Al Michaels began singing the Eagles fight song and talking about how he heard it almost non-stop at the restaurant and on the streets.
As for draft day, they were booing because they wanted the Eagles to pick Ricky Williams. Only the media morons try to twist it into "they booed McNabb." They weren't booing McNabb. They were booing Eagles management.
