They weren't selling beer. I had one in my mind, though. wink It was just into the office to register the paperwork, and then back outside where they loaded the seats into your vehicle. I was told that earlier in the day there was a really long line waiting, but I got there after 6:30 pm and there was just about no wait.

Ok, any other locals out there that would want to watch the game downtown at the Bikestop? Out of towners are welcome too, just keep the Giants and cowboys apparrel at home.

If the Pack wins, I promise (even if I end up getting beat up) to root for Arkansas when we're down in Baton Rouge for the LSU game.

A funny thing happened on the way to Milwaukee...mdphl's plans changed and he ended up at the Bike Stop and joined us (me, scottie, phillyrunner)...eventually. He was at one end of the bar and didn't think we were there. If he had walked to the other end and looked around the corner, he'd have seen us at our table. That didn't matter to scottie, who later offered to get down on his knees for mdphl... wink And scottie, the non-football fan, stayed for the ENTIRE game. Props to scottie!

And major props to the EAGLES!!!!!!! The game-winning drive was superb--I kept worrying that too much time was going by, but clearly they had it planned out well.

Damn Pack -- fell apart in the end just like in the K.C. game. But gotta hand it to McNabb -- that final drive was really a thing of beauty.

I have a few thoughts on this game, now that the beer has worn off...

-Did the Refs have their Green Bay jerseys on? How many times were they going to allow the packers to run into the eagle punter? There was a ref standing right there on that Face Mask on Buck. NO CALL. The eagles were playing against the pack, the crowd, the rain, and the refs.

-192 yards by green. Geez, but all his turnovers really offset these yards and except for that TD run, they held him in check for the 2nd half. I think the run D gets better when Taylor and Dawk get back. JJ wont have to concentrate on giving the young kids help in the secondary and use more run blitzes.

- The MVP of the game? Favre! Why you ask? He really hurt his team by playing. He couldnt grip the ball. Yes, we all know Farve is the best QB ever to step foot on the field.. blah blah blah blah... They beat the drum all night, but i mean come on... 3 fumbles? You pack fans cant be that myopic can you? Is the consecutive game streak really worth giving your team a big L?

Well - as JIP reported, I didn't travel to Milwaukee. I was flying standby and didn't make it onto the 50 seat "regional jet". So I was forced to go to the Bike Stop. I was with friends and didn't see JIP, Phillyrunner and Scottie until the pizza man smoked them out of "Outsports Cove" (As that area of the bar will now be called). I had a fun time with a terrific group of guys notwithstanding Scottie's scandaleous behavior
