One of the online fantasy games that I play in gives weekly prizes to the top 3 overall finishers. This week, I finished 4th but that's not why I'm screaming. I could live with finishing 4th, actually I couldn't because I want the money, but it's how I finished 4th that's the problem! :mad:

I had, singularly, the greatest week putting together a roster that I've ever had....except for two players. Two players that play for the Washington Redskins, the team that I've rooted for my entire life. John Hall was one of my kickers. It's a funny thing but when a team gets SHUTOUT :mad: , that team's kicker almost never scores any points . So John Hall kicked no field goals, no extra points and got me zero points in my fantasy game. :mad:

By comparison though, that wasn't as bad as what Laveraneous Coles did to me. L.Coles caught no passes so I got nothing from him as a receiver but he did run a reverse, for -1 yard. Laveraneous actually lost me 0.1 fantasy points. :mad:

The absolute worst part is that I didn't have to play them. I had another kicker and wide receiver on my bench that I could have played and not only would I have finished in the top 3, I would have finished in the top 1!!!!! :mad:

So here I am, sitting, with no prize money despite putting together a fantastic fantasy roster, the likes of which I may never do again, having been done in by two players who play for a team of which my allegiance has never wavered. Could the irony be any greater?
