Possible bonehead coaching decision (depending on the final outcome): Jacksonville had a 4th and 3 at about Baltimore's 12 with the score 7-0 Baltimore in the first half. They went for the first down instead of the field goal, and failed. Stupid move.
Some things to consider for those of you who picked the Bucs over the Eagles:
The last 2 years the Eagles have EASILY beaten the Bucs in the playoffs at the Vet. Today's game is at the Vet.
The Bucs hired a new head coach BUT kept the same defensive coordinator and essentially the same defense that lost to the Eagles in those playoff games. And Donovan McNabb has only gotten better since last season.
The Eagles defense is still pretty tough despite some injuries, but they're getting some players back today from what I've read. And the Bucs offense hasn't improved that much.
And the last 10 times the Eagles have lost a game, they immediately followed up with a win.

What is wrong with Oakland Raiders fans? I can't get the game even on Directv NFL Sunday ticket. And Oakland is one of the best teams in the NFL so far this year.

Bill, the game is on the ticket. Try channel 716.

And we'll have to change this to 11 now.

Those Vikes looked pretty good though, huh? Oh well, at least my fantasy team is doing pretty well!

Yeah G-Lo, Marshall rocked on your fantasy team!
How 'bout Shannon Sharpe and that come from behind win for the Broncos! Today's win help erase some of the heartbreak from last week.
Miami looked nothing like the team that played Denver last week.
The Pack still mandhandled the Deadskins even after Favre was carted off the field.
If New Orleans only had a defense like the Bucs.
Someone forgot to tell the OAK defense that they had to play OT.
How pathetic was the Cowboys/Cardinals game? Gramatica missed 5 FG's!.

Not in the Bay Area! It's blacked out even on Directv.

Unless game is a sellout 72 hours prior to kickoff it is blacked out, even on Directv.

Actually Bill Gramattica missed 3 out of 6 field goals. His brother Martin missed a key 29yarder against the Eagles. Seems like when one of them does not do well, then they both don't do well.

My top performers of the day
#1 Marshall Faulk, 3 TD's and slamming the Shithawks
#2 Michael Vick, Making Atlanta a real fun team to watch. A silver and black from the NFC could meet the silver and black from the AFC.
#3 Staley Duece, 152 yards rushing vs. Bucs D
#4 TJ Duckett, 2 TD's today, overtaking Warrick Dunn's place with the Falcons.
#5 Nate Clements, 3 Int's in Bills victory
#6 Barbara Streisand, The best Diva of all time!

Move the Raiders to Seattle, We have a new stadium and they would sell out every game a year in advance. That other team can go to Saskatchewan.
"Saskatchewan Shithawks", has a better ring to it

At the bar where I watched the Eagles yesterday, I got to see Martin's miss followed by one of Bill's misses on another screen, just seconds later. The timing was amusing, to say the least.

You betcha! BIG sigh of relief throughout Packerland today -- Favre has a torn LCL in his knee, but shouldn't require surgery. Brett predicts he'll be able play against Miami in two weeks.
You probably had fans in Milwaukee / G.B. more concerned about his MRI than they were about their own mother's!

I'm really hoping Favre is okay. The NFL is a better product with him. There are few players I respect more (the Strahan fiasco not withstanding) and few players I would want on my team more.
Sure seems like Jay Fiedler may not be the figurehead all the pundits say he is.
Are the Chargers finally going to be taken seriously?
A couple of truly terrible QB performances yesterday. Quincy Carter almost makes me feel sorry for Cowboy fans. Ray Lucas sure didn't look like the Ray Lucas who did pretty well with the Jets. Panthers QBs were a combined 9/26 for 104 yards. Seahhawks QBs were a combined 10/30 (at least they had decent yardage I guess!). And Spurrier's Fun and Gun would appear to be done!
Browns unis-Yea or Nay? Looked like Clemson U. Tigers. Shouldn't the Browns wear, oh I don't know, BROWN!

"Are the Chargers finally going to be taken seriously?"
They should be--in ESPN power rankings they were listed as #7 before yesterday's games. Miami was #1, Oakland #2 and Tampa Bay #3--all three lost leaving the Saints probably moving in the top spot followed by the Chargers, Broncos and Green Bay.
Brees and Tomlinson are awesome. I loved Brees' interview after the game when he was asked about the Oakland fans throwing things after the loss and he was hit in the head with a plastic bottle--he said he didn't mind because it was the best hit they had on him all day. Sweet!
