PF - tisk, tisk, not only do you not wear envy well, you also need to work on your social skills (not to mention your spelling and grammar).
Tally ho...

Kenny and PewterPirate,
Please take the time to finally read one of my posts through to it’s conclusion in order to educate yourselves and not make yourselves look foolish, as you have done for the past several days.
I started the “Official Warren Sapp, shut your pie hole” thread because I believe the player is a complete jerk and is a prime topic of NFL conversation. Newspaper and media reports would confirm this. As Warren’s behavior and antics continue to escalate further, accurately reflecting the Tampa Bay organization and their fan base, I will continue to post. Since Keyshawn’s behavior closely mirrors that of Warren’s, I will also continue to post and comment on that, as well as his below average receiving skills.
You have chosen to post in response, attempting to defend your players and team. Admirable. However, the arguments you have used to justify their behavior and the predictions you have made about your team’s future performance have been justifiably questioned due to their lack of merit.
Both of you have chosen to answer the questions that I have asked by primarily deflecting the conversation towards another member of this board, PhillyFan, whom you both appear to have a past history debating. I agree with this member’s conclusions about your team, your fans and your personal lack of knowledge concerning the of the game of football. The majority of your responses have reinforced these conclusions.
I must, however, reply to some of the comments that you have made and ask you to completely read my response.
PewterPirate, this morning after you reviewed one of my posts and my profile, you stated “Offshore betting and he lives in Phoenix...ROFL, talk about real American genius.” Pewter, given your ignorance, you mistakenly thought that in order to participate in “offshore betting” one must be located near the coastline or shoreline, and because I live in Phoenix (which is not proximate to the coastline); I am a veritable dolt for participating in offshore betting. I have repeatedly asked you if you know what offshore betting is, to which each of my questions was ignored until you finally stated that the thread has “turned to offshore betting.” It is obvious that you do not know what offshore betting is, so let me educate you. Offshore betting is the practice of using one’s personal computer to access bookmakers/odds makers located primarily in the Caribbean (hence the word “offshore”) to place wagers on sporting events in order to earn, hopefully, a sizeable profit. This is one of my sources of income. Do you understand now?
PewterPirate, you then commented “1974, wow, you must be old. So you commute back to KC for the games from Phoenix.” Why must I be old if I have owned season tickets since 1974? Is it possible that my family has owned tickets since this date, and has now transferred them into my name? I could very well be younger than you. And if I happen to be older than you, what factor does age place in any of the conversations I have tried to initiate?
Then of course, you’re looking for some Moderator of this board to bail you out, because you 1) don’t agree with my opinions, and 2) cannot counter them with an intelligent response. Why look to someone else to cover your deficiencies?
Kenny, you have repeatedly, repeatedly, repeatedly accused me of arguing my valid assumptions with statistics, and then deferring the conversation back to PhillyFan. I have predicted, based upon my extensive knowledge of the NFL, that I do not believe the Tampa Bay Buccaneer’s will make the playoffs in the year 2003-2004, and have provided you with non statistical reasons why this will occur. Again, I must repeat, my reasons have been non statistical. You do not agree with my prediction, and I have repeatedly attempted to initiate a stimulating conversation with you, asking you to educate me why the Buccaneer’s will make the playoffs. You have countered my questions with:
• a comment about your running game being just fine;
• Joe Jurevicius coming back giving Tampa Bay a “triple threat”;
• your glass is half full;
• your team is going to “step up”;
• referring to conversations between you and PhillyFan, and;
• telling me that you won’t argue statistics.
Kenny, I didn’t think that I was more intelligent than you until you started posting and pretty much made it a forgone conclusion. A better response to one of my posts would have been, “I am a big Tampa Bay fan. I root for the team. I have neither the depth nor the knowledge/experience to counter any of your claims and I hereby retract my response” or to not even post at all. You then make the comment “I thought it would be fun to make friends and jab at fans of other teams.” Kenny, that’s fine, and it’s probably the main reason why we all joined, but when you make comments on a public forum and they are not valid, you need to expect that they will be challenged. You should be prepared to back up your comments or face what you have been receiving the past two days, or be man enough to bow out instead of prolonging the inevitable.
Pewter, you have argued with a link to a cartoon created after LAST Year’s Super Bowl win. Both of you seem to believe that fans of other teams are envious of the Tampa Bay Buccaneer’s. Speaking on behalf of myself, I am not. Are you envious of the Chief’s Super Bowl IV win? Probably not. Then why would anyone be envious of the Buccaneer’s win in last years Super Bowl? Does this make sense?
Please understand that my reason for posting my comments on this board is to initiate intelligent discussion with like minded gay sports fans. If you choose to respond unintelligently than you should be open to criticism.

Wow, CU - you win a prize for that.
Didn't mean to get you so "spent" over not responding to your offshore betting thing. I knew what it was - didn't know it was based out of the Caribbean.
Although I enjoy this forum, I don't live, die and hang on to every thing stated here. In fact, I completely discount anything stated by a certain eagles fan that lives in philly, he actually provides me with comic relief. I'm sorry if I in ANY way offended you. As I said to Kenny today. I'm actually pulling for the Chiefs, I'd like to see them make it to the Super Bowl (for PF's benefit, I think Trent Green is HOT could care less what Green's stats are...). But I wouldn't be suprised to see a Bucs - Chiefs Super Bowl, and I think if any team can stop them the Bucs are the team.
Cheers,
Pewter
