Lions and Ravens and Texans, oh why? These three teams have received the least support from our panel of pigskin prognosticators, which is 35 players strong so far.

Not surprisingly, nobody took the Texans as they take on the Eagles. Only one (gp43) likes the Ravens to stun the Broncos. And only one player (Sportinlife) likes the Lions to bedevil the Saints. The Bengals are backed by only two (Sportinlife, Cyd@outsports) as they battle the Buccaneers. Meanwhile, only four (Meric, CowboysHskrFan, AubieinBham, Sportinlife yet again!) think the Rams will remain winless as they go against the Cowboys. And our Game of the Week isn't thought to be much of a game at all as only 5 (Cyd@Outsports, ESPNBill, AubieinBham, ATLJock, MCMikeNamara) are rooting against the Raiders as they take on the Titans.

We are most closely divided by the Jets-Jaguars, with Jacksonville leading 19-16. Next closest is the 20-15 edge the Seahawks have on the Vikings and the Bills have on the Bears.

Our Ballsy Prognosticator of the Week (which from here on out may be known as the "Are You Smokin' the Same Stuff the Mets Are" award) is: Sportinlife who picked the Lions, Bengals and Cowboys, as well as the Panthers.

The spread runs from Oakland by 22 to Tennessee by 7.

The consensus, so far, is 8-5.

Sportinlife appears to have the right dosage on the happy dust this week, well except for the whole Cincy and Carolina thing.

Didn't get much else right though. Great compensation was seeing Eagle TE Chad Lewis interviewed on a local sports show. Boy would I like to find out if he lives up to the title of his position.
