Well, I may not have won, but at least I'm snuggled up on the 10th place podium with our very own Cyd, who is also the 2002 Cover Boy of The Year. Not a bad consolation prize if I say so myself

I've always believed a bit in "karma" and "what comes around goes around", which I'm sure is why George deservedly won the $500 Super Bowl pool that he mentioned in a previous post....after all your hard work running this contest for the past five months, you definitely earned it!

Hope you're on your way to a speedy recovery from your recent surgery and I'll echo the sentiments of my fellow Outsporters in passing along a BIG THANKS for doing an outstanding job all year long....just make sure you spend that $500 wisely though, George.

let me throw in my thanks too Geo!! After wrapping up the SuperBowl and the most incredible football year my Bucs have ever experienced, it was great to again play along here at the Pickem with the boys!! Thanks for all of your work, weekly updates, post season game and all!!

Congrats BigBucBoy! As a Vikingfan, I can sympathize with much of your frustration. To get the monkey off the Bucs back in their first SB trip is great.

Not being that knowledgeable about football, I didn't join until the playoffs. But being in the pool has definitely made me an NFL fan and made watching the games all the more exciting.

Despite finishing in the lower half of standings, I'm encouraged to join up next year in the regular season. I've just got to remember to pick teams based on talent and the alignment of the stars, not just on looks.

hold on -- is that Jello Shots on George -- as in Jello Shots on top of George? ... or Jello Shots on George's belly button? ... that'll up the attendance in L.A.!

My turn to express my sincere thanks, George! Your weekly Pick 'Em game has been absolutely fabulous to play , and have provided me with a reason to follow the postseason after our fantasy football league ended. (My proud little achievement is topping you, Theo, and Bill in this postseason version!)
