Since JIP was just in NYC for some football...

I think the pressure is squarely on his shoulders to start us all off with some excellent eagles MOJO for the invaders from up the pike...

No one is to mention that sunday night game either... can't worry about those things...

I wasn't the only one in NYC--phillyrunner was also there that day, and we delivered an Eagles victory over the Jets. Now it's time to make it a three-game sweep over the two "New Jersey" teams!

Here is to a clean sweep. The mojo has been working well especially in the two previous get togethers Joe and I have attended. Props go out to mdphl who met us at the bar after halftime predicting a comeback by the birds.

As only a True Eagles fan would do, not take all of the credit for anything, truely unselfish (unless beer is involved of course), even if it is that crappy Coor's light a certain someone drinks... no names...

Anyway, this is a short week birds fans. I've just checked out the Injury report and it's not pretty as welly (g) is listed at doubtful. Yet, another injury.

The Gmen are in town folks, as always it will be a wild and crazy game.. i dont care what the record are... what does that mean for true eagles fans? Yup, time to get wild and crazy... so grab the pots, grab the pans and play a tune...

Well compared to last year, he's due for some TDs compared to his fumbles. And if I remember right, he scored most of his TDs last year late in the season.

I could actually care less about the actual game, except that I have Tiki on my fantasy team and that an Eagles loss helps my Vikings in the playoff scenario more than a Giants loss.

Jon Ritchie was interviewed on TV about the black jersey, and he said he likes them because (not his exact quote) you can get dirty and bleed on them and not care, where when you're in a white jersey you act all prissy wanting to keep clean. wink

It seems that I have to cure this misperception that I am an Igs fan. Sorry. I am no such reptile. And, though I live near DC, near a team coached by a True American Hero ™ -- who's just happening to have a rough time of it whilst becoming insanely wealthy -- I'm not a firebreathing Redskins fan either. I do happen to like the Bucs, Saints, and Broncos, but that all has to do with my youthful indiscretions.

I just loves me some college football. In fact, if the Oklahoma Sooners gave Baylor a buncha mercy points and played the Redskins tomorrow, I'd cheer for Oklahoma. Double that if OU played in the SEC.

But when it comes to the Igs, I gotta give props to my homie PhillyFan. Who else takes such abuse and keeps comin back? He's like the Dark Knight in Monty Python. If his Igs got slaughtered on Sunday, he'd be back on Monday, claiming, "It's only a flesh wound!" -- albeit with some cogent football analysis.

You gotta understand about Phil -- despite his misaligned football devotion and underdeveloped political beliefs, he's a decent guy. Cute, too, if you're into the boy thing. I guess I gotta stand up for him from time to time, He and I have formed a strange and beautiful friendship -- he's strange and I'm (hold on there, GatorJ, lotsa these guys have met you)...What I mean to say is the we have formed a strange friendship. wink

For the Sake of the Birds MOJO, i'm simply recruiting a band leader/cheerleader... They pay sucks (nothing), but the job does involve coordinating special tribute songs and jumping up and down on a trampoline(sp).

Anyway, whenever FREE gifts are involved, i'm all over dat, and will accept that as Eagle MOJO at it's best...
