Jake Plummer breaks foot while watching television

Is it the moutain air or what?

better than the Jacksonville air.

Broncos can't catch a break. Plummer is still out. Beurlein broke his finger and is done for the year. Now Danny Kanell, who was to start Sunday, missed practice today with the flu and may not be available for Sunday. So enter newly re-signed Jarious Jackson who is coming down with a cold! The third QB on the current depth chart is WR Rod Smith!

You get the feeling the Broncos would take Elway off his car lots and arena football suite and suit him up again! wink

Hee. The Broncos got rid of The Drunk and oh how I wished them bad luck. Now it's just bizarre with the QB situation there. Have the faith healers been brought in yet?
Theo
They've shot Kannel up pretty well so he'll go today.

What is the news I am hearing this morning about Jake Plummer ditching his fiancee at the altar? Apparently, they were just about to tie the knot when he called the wedding off!!!!!! Well! Bobby may have a chance after all!

Former Arizona State University and Cardinals quarterback Jake Plummer backed out of his wedding this past weekend on the day it was to take place, multiple sources confirmed Wednesday.

The ceremony was being held in Hawaii.

The story was first leaked to a Valley radio station via e-mail.

Phoenix radio station KDUS, the flagship station of the Arizona Cardinals' network, reported Wednesday that the couple had family members and some friends in Hawaii anticipating the wedding.

Talk-show host Mike Jurecki reported Plummer called off the ceremony less than two hours before its scheduled start.

Additional, unconfirmed radio broadcast reports from Phoenix indicated Plummer's family moved to a different hotel in Hawaii afterward because of safety concerns.

"I was told that an hour and a half before the wedding is when he called it off," Jurecki said. "But, from what I'm told, her family doesn't hate him. They're just disappointed that it came to this."

Yet another example of Jake's poor clock management skills!

So wait, the Plummers moved to a different hotel because they were afraid that she was gonna hurt him?

Please, this was a girl who was strung along for 6 years, had planned a destination wedding, and was getting strapped into her wedding dress right as he called it off. A move across town isn't going to protect him. He needs the 82nd Airborn.

What a wild story!

I could find nothing about this story either on KDUS's website or in the Arizona Republic... anybody got a link?

Having done the wedding thing just two years ago, if I was that girl I would take my bouquet, jam it down his throat and pull it out his winkle.

Gurrrl...if BostonGirl were to pull any crap like that on our Vermont wedding this coming summer, she'd need to face the fact that not only does hell hath no fury like a woman scorned, but...there'd be consequences...

While we're putting together a legal team, GJ, there's the minor matter of representation. I'll give you a special BALIF-expat discount to separate the Plymouth from your fury in the jurors' minds! biggrin.gif
