HAIL TO THE REDSKINS!!!

2-0 biggrin.gif

And Peerless Price is a huge turd as a number one receiver. He couldn't get open to save his life.

Why couldn't I have had Jamal Lewis on one of my fantasy teams?

quite the day thus far

Cedrick Wilson wins bonehead of the day for not getting down in time for SF to kick the GW-FG

Jamal Lewis runs for almost 300 against the Browns.

And (fantasywise) thank you Lavernaues Coles

and Philly is about to score for the first time this year ....
PCC
I do have Clinton Portis though. He has 7 rushes for 110 yards in the first quarter.
phillyrunner
I have to admit I am surprised at the Redskins quick start. Patrick Ramsey looked good, although Atlanta's defense may have had something to do with that. The 2 Skins Interceptions didn't hurt either.

Bengals 13, Raiders 13 (this could get interesting)

edit: and only as Cincinnati could do, Kitna throws a pickoff and it gets returned for a TD

Raiders 20, Bengals 13

...and now tied again at 20 (why am I stuck watching NE-Phi)

The Panthers have taken the Bucs to overtime.

Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to go Jamal! 296 yards on 30 carries in a single game! Woah!

Lewis keeps promise, sets NFL record

And he is such a stud too! Yum! I am in lust...

PANTHERS WIN! PANTHERS WIN!

How long will it be before we hear from PewterPirate and Kenny and all of the rest of the obnoxious Bucs fans?

Hey, you Eagles fans, HOW 'BOUT MY PATS????!!!!
Tom Brady had a great game; Christian Fauria; Tedy Bruschi. McNabb blitzed all day. How great was that?
Cadillac
PCC - You're a joke. Yes, the Bucs actually lost, they deserved to lose the way they played.

I'm sure the Bucs will have a better record then the Skins in week 16. Hell, I'm sure they'll have a better record in week 8! I wish the Bucs had opened their season with the Jets and Falcons!

Why don't you worry about winning the EAST - THAT will prove challenging enough. NOT which team has a better record in week 2.

ROFLMAO

Cleve vs. Baltimore - it wasn't tough having J.Lewis run all over the Browns, the sickening part was the CBS announcers, from the start they felt Baltimore was the greatest team ever ! When Cleve made a penalty: "Dumb mistake" When Baltimore made a penalty: "That's a shame" LOL ! And they both kept saying this game is so much fun - NOT ! Cleveland fans hated it !!

Does anyone who follow the Seahawks know why Koren Robinson was suspended for week 2, and also why it wasn't announced until after the game?
What's going on?

Josh
PCC
I don't know why Koren Robinson was suspended but I did have him on one of my fantasy teams and I was surprised that he didn't have any catches.
la_meatman
Who was it that predicted Colts in the Super Bowl?

Just a reminder now, so I'm not accused of the bandwagon.

That defense looks awfully good, to go with that potent offense. Great Special Teams, and look at all the great interviews we gonna be treated too with the #1 stud in football PEYTON MANNING!

When filling out those POWER RANKINGS...Colts after defeating two playoff teams from a year ago, should be #1

Apparently, he violated some team rule, and this was his punishment. Of course, this was something that Coach Walrus Face could have told us about SATURDAY, so that fantasy players who planned to use Robinson in THREE different games could have planned accordingly.

Ironically, in my three leagues, each person I was playing against started Jamal Lewis. Now that is fate lining up against you.
js1metsfan
Yeah I have Robinson on my fantasy team too, so I was quite pissed that this news wasn't reported earlier.
I also sent a complaint to CBSsportsline.com for not reporting this before game time.

Vikes 2-0!!! I knew getting the game at Green Bay out of the way early instead of having to go there in the cold and snow would be a benefit. And while beating the Bears may not seem like a real accomplishment, the Vikes had lost 4 of 5 to Chicago. Unfortunately, I didn't get to see too much of the game as I was working and we were packed! Damn customers getting in the way of my TV viewing!!! wink biggrin.gif

Robinson was suspended due to "tardiness".

Seattle Times article on Robinson

Seahawks off to 2-0 start! Woo Hoo!. This team really needs to generate wins to get the excitement back into Seahawks football. 2-0 is a good way to do it. Now comes the real test when Bulger & the Rams roll into Seahawaks stadium. Hopefully, the game will be a sell-out.

Oh my head hurts to know that I lost points because Robinson didn't make a meeting on time. But, you have to wonder if Walrus Face would have done this if they were facing a tougher team. (I apoloigize to any Cards fans for this slight.)

Don't have to wait too long! smile.gif We deserved to lose that game! I was there and it was very exciting at the end, but Gruden says we get what we deserve, and we sure did this game. On to Atlanta!

Cards fans? What are those? wink

I should check to see how many fans actually showed up for the game on Saturday. Before the game started I heard they sold only about 21,000 tickets for the game?

Edit to add:
Attendance for the game: 23,127. Ouch.

Will it be Kurt Warner or Marc Bulger taking snaps when the St. Louis Rams play at Seattle on Sunday?

Coach Mike Martz is expected to announce his decision today during his 4 p.m. ET news conference at Rams Park.
How is this possibly even an issue anymore? How can this NOT be Bulger's job to lose at this point? Even Martz can't be this stubborn and stupid as to start Warner next week, can he???

I also read that Joe Jurevicius is out for 4-6 weeks with an torn MCL. The Bucs are looking for another receiver and there is speculatiuon Andre Rison is a candidate.
Marc
That's really unfortunate for Joe Jurevicius, especially since the injury resulted from a collision with his hunky teammate Mike Alstott. And after what he went through in the off-season with the death of his son, I'm sure he'd been looking forward to playing again.

Although it didn't look promising early in the first quarter, the Chiefs came back and won rather easily over the Steelers yesterday. Good to see Kansas City off to a 2-0 start. They already had good offensive weapons last year with Priest Holmes and Mark Boerigter (although the latter didn't figure much in Sunday's game), but had the NFL's worst defence. However, that seems to be improving, based on their performance yesterday.

In our inaugural Outsports NFL Power Rankings the one first-place vote for the Chiefs came from me. I think I should have company this week. biggrin.gif

WTF! I should have used Hasselbeck from the CRAPHawks instead of Gannon. Duce Staley and Charlie Garner did some serious slacking
I need Galloway to score a couple td's tonight

Further proof that Jeremy Shockey is not only a homophobic bigot but he is just plain f***ing stupid -- what kind of education do they deliver at the University of Miami anyway (no offense intended to the respectable and intelligent "MiamiDr", an employee of U.M., who posts regularly on these boards)?....what I am referring to for those who might not have been watching the 3rd quarter of the MNF game is Shockey dropping an EASY touchdown pass when he was wide open in the end zone (and his team down by 16 points and badly in need of a score, I might add) and then (with the camera squarely on him) laughing, smiling broadly and clapping his hands repeatedly as he was walking back to the huddle as if he had just scored the game winning TD rolleyes.gif ....if I was one of his NYG teammates (not to mention Jim Fassel, who apparently is lacking in the cajones department himself) I would knock some sense into this imbecile's head (if that is even possible) before he cost his team any more games with his childish behavior.

Thank you, Cowboys!

The Redskins are officially Lords of the NFC East, looking down upon everyone else.

Bow down! Bow down before them!
Boltergeist
No THANK YOU Cowboys for beating the Giants, who beat the Rams ... that should shut the St. Louis people up, you may now return to your normally scheduled 5-11 season.
